Night time awakenings

She moved through Lamotrigine to Epilim. She missed a few doses that resulted in three tonic clonic seizures. As a result, her neurologist prescribed an increased dose of Epilim. She is currently on 500 mg Epilim in the evening and 300 mg Epilim in the morning.

I was on Epilim and Lamictal for my Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, bad shaking hands, was it Parkinson's disease, found reaction to Epilim!

Is there some sort of link between the effects of the Epilim and the effects of the AZ vaccine?

Essential tremors for Epilim and Lamictal [2013-2016] now same thing for Vimpat and Briviact [2018- 2021 ......

So could it be just the same side effects of the Epilim/Lamictal and Vimpat/Briviact that is the trouble?

Long term side effects of Lamictal on bones and teeth?

I took Lamictal for my JME epilepsy, with Keppra, Epilim and Fycompa, my dentist was always ticking me off for years, I was paying for expensive fillings, crowns, etc, I wondered why, even going onto electric toothbrushes, still severe 'slap on the wrists' "Why don't use ...." blah, blah, then when

Switching from keppra to epilim, has anyone else had a seizure & if so did they go back on keppra or wait for it to settle?

I have been following the 4 month change over from keppra to epilim because I had a seizure Jan 2020. I took the last keppra on friday 29th Jan 21 and had a seizure on Sunday 31st Jan.

Hello , my question relates to my bloods, re Vitamin B12 replete Plasma Folate level, is a result of 7ng/ml ( 4.0-20.0) considered low?

I have epilepsy and been using medication for 40yrs, sodium valproate/epilim. Just discovering it can stop vitamins and minerals being absorbed into the body properly and cause Thyroid problems.

Levetiracetam information required

My son has been prescribed Levetiracetam in addition to Epilim Chrono because his seizures continue. I’m unsure about this - especially as it seems to make him very irritable. He has a tendency to depression and irritability anyway as he also has Type 1 diabetes and an acquired brain injury.

Effect of warfarin on epilepsy medication

The AED's the neurologist has tried are: phenytoin, keppra, epilim, lamictal and lethyl. He is now wanting to include fycompa into the mixture. I have also tried a keto diet and cbd oil as well. Is there anyone else on warfarin and AED's that have managed to get control over their seizures?

Crippled By Hot Flashes

After a really bad migraine episode the other night which had my Husband take me to A & E, I was next day contacted by my Neurologist who says that he wants me back on Epilim.

alcohol and medication

She is on Keppra, Lamictal and Epilim to control her seizures. Will an occasional glass of wine upset the balance of these medications?

Temporal Lobe Seizures and loss of memory

My doctor has put me on Epilim to see if it will help, epilepsy runs in my family but no one has ever had the type I have had. This is all new and very very scary for me as I am struggling with my short term memory.

Lamictal and electric shock nighttime 'seizures'

I have had JME for nearly fifty years, but I was on Keppra, then Epilim, then Fycompa, all with Lamictal from circa 2012 that caused the question?

Investigating use of a surrogate. Any advice welcomed

Unfortunately I am on epilim (an anti epileptic) which has been shown to be a risk of physical and cognitive abnormalities. My neurologist was supportive of my previous attempts to conceive but due to recent new guidelines and research is now less so. I am anxious about the risk.

It's finally time to share again with all you amazing people.

I'm finally on max Epilim and Epitec and they've added a new one to the cocktail last week. After the epilepsy my body started doing strange things (and I'm not referring to the fits). I developed Hypertension, Water Retention, Extreme Anxiety, Depression, Cholesterol and rather memory loss.

Epilim

I wanted to know whether anyone here (whether for CBD or PSP) has taken Epilim (sodium valproate) and whether you’ve noticed an increase in sleep and confusion? Mum has CBD. Thanks,

Pregnancy and epilim/keppra

To further decrease epilim this week. I've been made to feel like such a monster since finding out, my own mother is not supportive, some health professionals have been so cruel and harsh to me and I feel like I've had no support. I am absoloutley terrified and feel so alone.
