My daughter is on Epilim Chronospheres 600mg twice a day. Are any of you on the same and have had strepsils before? If so which ones are safe for her alongside this medication. The Honey & Lemon ones say they contain alcohol so have avoided them.

Thank you

Hi for interactions have a look at drugs.com where you can enter two drugs and they list the interactions. Personally I wouldn’t worry about the very tiny amount of alcohol in strepsils. Alternatively ask your pharmacist for advice both about strepsils or to suggest any other throat sweet that doesn’t contain alcohol

Hey, thank you for your reply🙂 I called the pharmacy yesterday and they went a bit mad, saying she needs to have blood tests etc…. They thought she was having an allergic reaction to Epilim. After I said she’d been on it for a number of years she just told me to stick to the normal paracetamol and plenty of fluids.
