I have just had a 24hour EEG and been told I have multiple seizures on it but am waiting the report. I suspect I might be having partial aware seizures, but dont know yet, where I am aware they have happened as they only last a few seconds. I am wondering if anyone else has experience of this and how it was treated? I also have generalised seizures occasionally too and have changed medication to epilim which does not stop them.

Advice on seizure types
Hi Angie,
I hope you hear about the report from your recent EEG soon. It's important to get the diagnosis right so your epilepsy doctor can look at the right treatment for your seizures.
We know that with the right dose of the right epilepsy medicine 7 out of 10 people can get good seizure control. But it can take a little while to get the balance right. So if your generalised seizures aren't controlled yet it could be worth discussing this with your epilepsy doctor too.
I'm linking you to our information that explains more about epilepsy medicines: epilepsy.org.uk/info/treatm...
There's also information about getting the right treatment for epilepsy which may be helpful: epilepsy.org.uk/info/treatm...
It can be really helpful to share support and information so I hope you hear from others here.
