ASXL1 mutation 39% Worried about MF turning into leukemia
It is a hard process, the HDAC still continues to consume my platelets, to the point where I can only rely on
Eltrombopag
to boost them, and I have stopped using interferon. and even I doubt the increased platelets are from Splenic hematopoiesis. I live in fear and hope every day now.

Out of the blue fast falling platelets. CLL and ITP since long. By pass surgery of heart one year ago.
Past 6 months platelets has finally been stable, treated with Revolade (

Anyone Have Experience of Avatrombopag
I was going to be put on Fostamatinib but wasn't sure about the side effects so have asked to try Avatrombopag as I am currently using
Eltrombopag
which has suited me but seems to have stopped being effective.

Zanubrutinib journey
Platelets are now managed with
Eltrombopag
with a count in the 60's. CLL is slowly returning. Lymphocytes now 11. Current plan is to see how long
Eltrombopag
lasts and then look around for options ... not sure what? I am hoping to qualify for Venetoclax once CLL becomes a problem.

First Rituximab Infusion Day Tomorrow
I was on
Eltrombopag
and saw no response, the steriods gave me the usual temporary boost along with some unforgiving side effects but no cure, and then the specialist signed off on giving me the weekly stomach injections I can’t remember the name of the treatment.

Vitamin K
After taking
Eltrombopag
(Revolade) for a year and a half now I am totally familiar with the need to avoid anything with calcium and dairy for 4 hours before and two hours after taking the drug. So is it ok to take the D3/K2 tablet outside of this time frame?

Followup to my post 8 months back, sudden jaundice and hemolytic anemia
Couple of questions I have is can we start him on IVIG immediately to get his platelets up temporarily until his other meds (
eltrombopag
, rituxan) start kicking in or wait as he still stable right now with no bleeding incidents. Thanks!

Long term side effects of Mycophenolate in ITP?
I initially responded to
eltrombopag
but it stopped working after 2 months. I was then on Romiplostim for about 7 months but it had to be discontinued as it caused fibrosis of the bone marrow. I’ve been on 2.5g daily of MMF for the past 3 months and it just started working in the past 7 weeks.

Eltrombopag vs Romiplostim
I am considering asking my haematologist if I can switch (after being on
eltrombopag
for 3 months) to Romiplostim. I see from a table showing a summary of treatments for ITP that there is a whole long list of side effects with
eltrombopag
but nothing significant listed at all for Romiplostim.

ITP SPLENECTOMY vs
In Australia I am unable to access any of the ITP drugs such as Promacta/
Eltrombopag
etc unless I have had a failed splenectomy. I am now considering splenectomy as I have run out of options & sitting dangerously low. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Eltrombopag - advice?
I am now on revolade (
eltrombopag
) started with the higher dose which seen my platelets go sky high then came down to lower dose and my platelets have came down to 26. For anyone that is on this did it take you a while to find the right dose to suit you and to keep platelets at a good level. X

Treating Itp with Herbal Supplements
Dexamethasone and
Eltrombopag
also didn't take. The Doctor's want to try rituximab next and I'm a little bit leary of that one. Then of course, if that doesn't work, they'll want to take my spleen and I'm kind of attached to that organ. I'm not really willing to give it up.
