Flecainide failed after 8 months
He put me on
Eliquis
too. I wonder if I am in permanent AF now and is cryo better path than RF?

Waves of Cold Going Through My Heart
I am almost 6 months post cryoablation and am only taking
Eliquis
. I also have a loop recorder implanted in October. For the past 6-7 weeks, I have been having short waves of icy cold in the middle of my chest. It comes and goes quickly - only seconds. But it does it all day long.

Antiplatelet vs anticoagulant therepy
Just began taking
Eliquis
(anticoagulant) for Afib. As a result was told to stop Plavix (antiplatelet) and 81 mg aspirin. Plavix had stopped migranes in the past. My question: Are migranes likely to reoccur?

Not Happy!
I started talkng
Eliquis
but it gave me a bad headache within 12 hours so that was stopped. I hate the thought of a stroke but I also hate the thought of a bleed. Is there anywhere to get information about the relative benefits of warfarin compared with NOACS?

Done with meds! Except my NOAC
Currently I am on metoprolol and
eliquis
, water pill, mag supplements and potassium. I am convinced I have vagal afib and metoprolol needs to be stopped. My b/p is great and I dont need a water pill either. I am working on high mag and potassium food.

Help! Medicine I can use for common cold?
I had a cryoblation done on July 21, 2016 and am only taking
Eliquis
. I'm terrified of going back into afib by taking some cold medication, but I feel like I've been run over by a truck. Doctor's office never calls back... too many patients, not enough office help apparently.

Uncontrolled bleeding events with Ibrutinib and in general
The newer blood thinning agents such as Pradaxa (Dabigatran) or Factor Xa blood thinners Xaralto (Rivaroxaban),
Eliquis
(Apixaban) & Savaysa (Edoxaban) may or may not have their own agents to reverse blood thinning.

2nd ablation done!
Since the medications made me so sick last year, he has me on none except the
eliquis
and he did not seem at all concerned that I would not be on them. We are crossing our fingers on this one. It was so great to see my EP happy!!!!

ELiquis is $457. A month
Just curious .....I am in the US and my
Eliquis
is $457. Month which is horrid. I had to do without basics before I got on Medicare but it only pays for a certain number of months and now I am paying that again. This is a hardship.

Help
I just started taking
Eliquis
but feel like my symptoms intensify when I do take it. I am at the end of my rope. Am I going crazy.. I'm a nurse and I work for a family doctor. And all of these bizarre symptoms have made it almost impossible to function.

ELiquis for life???
I've had 2 abalations and have been on
Eliquis
since last Oct. I had a 24/7 monitor on for a week and went to see the EP for results last week. Saw the nurse practioner and I was in NSR 97% of the time but she told me I would be on
Eliquis
for LIFE. I thought this was just a temporary drug.

Advice and just venting I guess
Am on
Eliquis
. Nurse said my patch showed I still had episodes of flutter but the dr wants to talk to me about what to do next. She said don't lose any sleep over it....but my mind is going wild with what do they do next. Anyone else gone down this path? Any advice please.

I AM NOT SERONEGATIVE!
But she has also put me on
Eliquis
and Plavix. I had been short of breath, so I was given various scans and tests for that, but no blood clots were found. She mentioned the possibility of microclots affecting my lungs. My breathing has indeed improved since being on the anticoagulants.
