Because I have been on • Eliquis 5 mg oral tablet twice a day for 2 years don't have to have the TEE first which makes me happy, just going to get shocked. Reporting to the hospital at 1pm when do you think I will get out, will I be in good enough shape to place a call for a cab.

I'm taking Eliquis because of blood clots and Losartan for high BP. Tomorrow I'm scheduled to start 420 mg Ibrutinib. I'm concerned about possible interactions of these 3 drugs. Has anyone taken these 3 and had any side effects as a result? Thanks.

My Dr suggested it, as they can’t take me off Eliquis after my (successful ) ablation because my Chad score is too high.

He said that her test results are very reassuring and he believes she can stop Eliquis and from now on be seen in the office for any colds or any time her overall well-being is off. the question I have is, should she wean off?she has been on 5 mg twice a day for only 32 days.

It's the eliquis. At drugs dot com there are terrifying reviews. I am desperate for comfort over this. If eliquis ever hurt my mom or WORSE I'd be beyond devastated. I am praying that the anticoagulant is temporary like last time but I'm still too scared.

I am now on Eliquis and can get it there also, but I’m a little hesitant because that is a life preserving drug. Has anyone used Eliquis or something similar from Mexico? Any comments on the efficacy of it?

I do drink 64 ozs of fluids daily, I am afraid of trying Anagrelide as I have Paroxysmal AFib (take Eliquis). My question is did anyone experience this and then headaches eventually stop? Eileen in Pennsylvania, USA

anyone else have rapid weight gain on metoprolol or Eliquis? I have been on medication for 6 months and have gained 15 lbs. so far. I exercise regularly (run, spin, elliptical rower etc) talking 4/5 days a week… I am still rapidly gaining. I don’t eat poorly or any excess sweets.

I’m afraid not to take Eliquis. Just hoping for some comments

Eye dr wants me to get eyelid ptosis repair (eyelid drooping) and needs me to go off Eliquis several days prior and also after surgical procedure (which won't be until early next year). I am so frightened but if I don't get eyelid done it could droop more plus I am 84 so need to get it done.

My first episode was when I was 48 years old and spent 3 days in hospital until heart sorted itself out. 9 months later another episode that lasted about 6 hours(took my flecanide, metoporol, and Eliquis as PiP). Very happy to make it a year since that last episode.

I noticed this week that Eliquis Apixaban has been replaced in my medication by Teva brand, just wondering how this is being received by people. Having experienced previous problems with brand changes with other medications I am initially a bit apprehensive.

Eliquis was prescribed because of my AFIB and being 76 years old. I am active and not overweight, walk three miles most days, never had a heart attack or stroke. Was out on 5mg of Eliquis twice a day. After about 35 days tuned up with flair of PMR that I had Six years ago.

My doctor has me on a variety of meds that includes-BP, Chol, Lasix,Farxiga,Eliquis, Cytoxan and Prednisone-plus a few more. Always tired. My current EGFR-49, my creatinine level is-1.47, and my urine/protein-14.34. I am suppose to start Rituximab Infusion as soon as I call.

Oh, and yes I am on beta blocker, major rhythm med ( Tikosyn) and Eliquis. EP surgeon is highly recommended. He say it’s my call. Cannot guarantee the afib cure but pretty sure about the aflutter and high heart rate. Am concerned about recovering.
