Can Eliquis cause a flair of PMR

Eliquis was prescribed because of my AFIB

and being 76 years old. I am active and not overweight, walk three miles most days, never had a heart attack or stroke. Was out on 5mg of Eliquis twice a day. After about 35 days tuned up with flair of PMR that I had Six years ago. Fever, headache, joint pain etc………Now on prednisone again

I am blaming Eliquis…….studies that I researched said this is a possibility. May be it’s just my bad luck but wondering if anyone else has had this happen .
