has anyone declined cytoxan and had success with cellcept in treating kidney injury? My son has had Eculizumab and Rituximab with no success and is now declining rapidly with kidney function.

Anyone tried omalizumab to manage the pruritus?
Hi all, Is there anyone who tried omalizumab as a way to manage pruritus? It looks like was quite successful in a small study. https://www.google.ro/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.haematologica.org/article/view/haematol.2022.281639/75313&ved=2ahUKEwjyo5ya3ej_AhWIiqQKHVztBV0QFnoECBEQAQ&usg

omalizumab
Hi, has anyone tried the above injections. I have been approved for this as I have allergic asthma and EILO. I'm currently permanently on Prednisone as inhalers do not work for me and hoping with these injections to be able at some point come off Prednisone. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Joining the dots......
I was diagnosed with eosinophilic asthma in 2017. I had rhinitis and nasal polyps prior to being diagnosed - I was 45 when I was diagnosed. Unfortunately despite having mepolizumab, benralizumab and omalizumab I have had little relief - eosinophils and FeNo remain high. To have a normal (ish) life

Waiting for Omalizumab
Attended the hospital today - was given possibly my final shot of benra after being told I would be switched to omalizumab. The consultant explained that even after being given biologics and taking large doses of steroids my eosiniphils remain very high. I had my bloods done as I mentioned that I was

Extreme itch
Hi all, I’m new to this so please excuse any uneccesary information. I started with full body hives and extreme itch in March. Physically exhausted, not knowing each day what the ’rash’ will be like and /or which part of my face will be swollen- often look like I’ve had Botox on my lips or bashed in

Omalizumab now off-Patent?
Belief the patient for omalizumab ran out last year and that other makers of drugs may be looking to introduce bio-similars at (presumably) a lower price point. If any anyone knows if new Omalizumab Bio-similars are yet licensed for use in the UK, it would be good to here from you, with the drug’s brand

Kenalog vs Omalizumab-pt2
Thank you everyone for your thoughts on my earlier post about these two medications. After discussing it at the appointment on Thursday we decided to retest my blood to see if my IGE has fallen below 700 ( as currently at 780) if it has then I can start the Omalizumab. If it’s gone above 800 we’ll go

Help! Kenalog vs Omalizumab
So after years of fighting; you’ve got asthma, you’ve not got asthma. Flare ups where needing steroids every 10 weeks. We finally had a plan, go to nhs England for Omalizumab if funding not granted go with Kenalog (steroid injection). Now I’ve been told, to get Omalizumab I need to lose 9kg before

Finally getting somewhere!
Hey guys! I recently posted in here regarding my lack of asthma diagnosis- I had been fobbed off for almost a year (for breathing issues linked to severe allergies) with doctors telling me that I must be anxious, stressed or depressed (because I don't wheeze), despite me pleading with them to believe

Eculizumab: Expert opinion is needed - What is a correct way to get off Soliris?
Dear experts, my son has DDD and have been treated with Soliris since January. He feels much better, his sC5b-9 value has gone down from 560 to 319 within 2.5 months, although the C3 value has dropped from 27 mg/dl to 18, but proteinuria and haematuria are almost away. So, obviously, Soliris is good

Omalizumab / Xolair
I’m waiting to hear if my asthma profile is a good match for Omalizumab then (if offered it) I’ll need to decide whether or not to take up the invitation. Wondering about two things: 1. Side-effects 2. Health Impact if I later need to come-off it (i.e. can you end up with worse asthma than before you
