Constant arrythmias but tests have given no real answers š¤·āāļø
Wondering if there is anyone else with a similar profile to me going through something similar...I'm a 34 year old female, fit (used to train muay thai 2 hrs a day) and have a super clean and balanced diet. Been having some wild ectopics last few months and it now lasts all day every day, but most particularly

had to call a ambulance
hi everyone, I felt very unwell on Saturday with new chest pain in my left hand side of my chest and found it difficult to breathe. I usually get it in the middle of my chest. My partner called an ambulance and I went into hospital. After ECG and blood tests they didnāt think it was a heart attack.

B12 and ECG
Has anyone ever had a B12 injection while hooked up to a full 12-lead (or whatever) ECG machine? Did it cause any detectable changes that seems directly due to the B12?

?Anxiety after CABG
Trying to find out if anybody else has gone through what is happening to my parent. They had CABG 5 weeks ago. The family think she is making a good recovery, we are encouraging her. She is 80. She is having problems where she states she is having breathing problems at night, whilst in bed and is becoming

Hi, Apologies, Iām dreadful at remembering terminology .. Iāve had racing and irregular heart beat intermittently for a decade of more. I have a resting heart rate of 50 and low blood pressure. My afib tends to be aggressive and I usually end up in hospital. ( rate of 240 not unusual) Last time had

What would you expect?
Hi Everyone, Just thought Iād ask here as the help Iāve received on here has been invaluable. Since my Cardioversion in Jan 2022 I have been in a sinus rhythm. I was originally told prior to the Cardioversion that if 6 months after Iām still in a sinus rhythm. I would be able to come off the edoxaban

Mitral Valve Replacement - Tissue or Metal valve?
Hi all, hope your evening is going well. I had an ECG on Monday and I was told I had a leaky Mitral valve and it needs replacing. I have an angiogram next Friday. I was shocked and I'm still processing the news. I'm no athlete by any stretch of the imagination, but I have never smoked, do not drink,

A DNA test, a book and a diet - my AFib Eureka moment !
First I wanted to say what a fantastic group this is and just how much it has supported, reassured and lifted me on my Afib journey, itās been invaluable Iām a 61 year old woman with paroxysmal lone Afib, possibly SVT too. My story in brief is that I was diagnosed 3 years ago after my Fitbit showed

Loop recorder (and other feedback)
So, a few weeks ago I passed out while sitting next to my wife - which made her panic. Short version of the story is that the episode was followed by influenza so may have been the beginning of that. Also an ECG I had shortly after passing out was normal. (FYI I am 49 and healthy). But she insisted

What is Left Atrial Rhythm and is it related to Afib?
I have paroxysmal Afib, which appears to be well managed with Flecainide and Metoprolol. I am having an unrelated medical procedure next week so my anaesthetist sent me for an ECG, which I had to drop back to her office. After getting the ECG done by a nurse at my local GP's rooms, the nurse took the

Ablation Done
After much worrying on my part, I had my ablation done at Barts on Friday and I'm not dead yet! Despite the long list of side effects which might have occurred according to the AF Ablation help sheet, all I had was a mild(ish) migraine on the Friday night. No problems with bleeding from the site or indeed

LBBB.
Just been disagnosed with LBBB that my GP missed 1 year ago and allowed me to go on antibiotics for past nasal drip which had to have a normal heart: hence the ECG . 1 year later I applied for whole of life insurance and their doctor found it in my records and queried why my doctor had not done cardiac
