I felt very unwell on Saturday with new chest pain in my left hand side of my chest and found it difficult to breathe. I usually get it in the middle of my chest. My partner called an ambulance and I went into hospital. After ECG and blood tests they didn’t think it was a heart attack. After having morphine and give more new medication and upping the ones I’m on I went home. It was just so scary. I’ve been waiting on a stent for a 100 per cent blocked LAD artery now for nearly 7 weeks now. It got cancelled last Wednesday because of the consultant strikes. I live on my own and I am just so scared now of it happening again. 😢

Ahhh you poor thing that sounds so scary! I would contact the hospital that your having your stent at and tell them what happened, or your cardiologist see if that will speed things along for you x hope your ok now 😘

Yeah I'm good thanks 😊 I'm on my way to have an echo on London. Keep us updated on how your getting on and when they reschedule your stent operation take care ❤️.
Hi, I really feel for you what a worry. With your blocked LAD I’m shocked to hear you have to wait so long. I have An 80% block In distal area of LAD and now a 50% ? In mid LAD which I’m waiting for pressure wire test to confirm blockage and with view it may need a stent. I hope you get yours done soon it stays in your mind every little ache. Let us know how it goes and how you get on. Best wishes going forward
Sorry you are going through this. Are you on the cancellation waiting list for your stents too? I would keep ringing thr cardiologists secretary and the cath lab to chase for a replacement appointment. Its simply not fair to keeo you waiting.I had a 100% blocked LAD after my failed bypass operation. That was in September and my stents were in February so I managed 5 months with a blocked artery and others nearly blocked. Did you know the heart finds different ways to get blood in and out of the heart through collateral vessels?
Stress can mimic heart pain so try and relax. Easier said than done I know. Ring the above people today. Tell them your pains are getting worse and you need help ASAP. Be polite but forceful. Get upset if you feel it.
thank you so much for your reply. I know what you mean about stress got myself so worked up about the procedure last week and for it then to be cancelled late the day before when you are all ready. I just feel I’m not listened to this is affecting my quality of life. I can’t work at the moment because it has got so bad. Good luck and take care.
Feel for you and can imagine the fear you are feeling. Keep chasing and don't worry if you feel you are annoying them - its just what you have to do these days to get anything done. Hope you get an appointment really soon x
