Moderately leaking aortic valve
Just had a stress test and a echo cardiogram for chest pain. The good news was my arteries were not blocked. The bad news was my aortic valve had moderate leakage and I had high blood pressure. Doctor said there is nothing to do right now and wants to put me on blood pressure medicine. 1) how long can

New to AF - Comments Appreciated
Had telephone discussion with my Edinburgh cardiologist last week to discuss my episodes and to review my
echocardiogram
results. Thankfully the tests showed my heart was structurally ok with no thyroid or blood count issues.

Echo Time Again
Having the annual meltdown over an
echocardiogram
on Thursday. Yes I have severe aortic valve stenosis but am asymptomatic. Received very nice letter from my Cardiologist saying that at the moment they will just closely monitor.

Hi everyone, I am new here, leaky valves , palpitations too. Is Magnesium effective?
I am originally from India, live in Maryland, age 81 years. Had a great life in this U.S.A. Was research chemist for Big Chemical Company, with 35+ years of industrial experience. Have palpitations at least 2 times a day. Echo cardiogram has been stable. Feel anxiety often. Is there a low cost pill

From heart failure to preserved ejection fraction
Last month
echocardiogram
showed preserved ejection fraction of 50%. Entresto has been a miracle drug for me. However, I have now developed arrhythmia, still investigating. I reckon this is because of anxiety due to COVID situation.

Cholesterol Levels
Anyway, I saw the Cardiologist who said the abnormality in the ECG was purely positional (I had a normal one since) the
echocardiogram
was fine so the structure of my heart was fine and the sinus tachycardia was down to anxiety.

New to this- Mitral Valve Regurgitation
I was asked to have an
echocardiogram
which lead to them finding the leak. I’m only 20 and until the last 6 months or so I have not experienced any symptoms. The symptoms I currently have seem fairly minor, but are perhaps worse than I think because they’ve crept up on me.

Myxoma check up
Please could I ask those members who had Myxomas, did you have a follow up
echocardiogram
?

Feeling Apprehensive about upcoming Valve surgery
After the surgery they decided to do an
Echocardiogram
just to check the level of regurgitation and the results were not that good.

Possible pericarditis
Some doctors say it’s muscular pain, following a recent visit I’ve been advised to take ibuprofen for the pain and have finally been told I will receive a referral for and
echocardiogram
I believe.

Haven’t been well for 3 months, and endoscopy today was horrific! Does anyone else have these symptoms? Really can’t suffer anymore!
I got kept in hospital overnight as my ECG showed some arrhythmia so I had an
echocardiogram
done on my heart and that was gone so they ruled out anything cardiac after that.

Could this be a mistake
GP told me to shield because I have type 2 diabetes and there's a letter on my file saying that I have aortic stenosis which was diagnosed by an
echocardiogram
5 years ago but it's news to me. I have never been tested. GP is surprised that I haven't been monitored.

Echocardiograms
My mum had a
Echocardiogram
on the 26th March and we still have not heard anything. How long do the results usually take to come back?

I'm afraid to keep running tests bc every single EKG/Chest XRay/
Echocardiogram
/Holtor Monitor has come back normal and both my GP and cardiologist have failed to find anything over past 2 months and don't want to seem like a hypochondriac.

CHEST HEAVINESS AND MINOR CHEST PAINS
Went for an echo two days ago and it revealed NORMAL
ECHOCARDIOGRAM
. Oh and am taking clopidrogel(In case of reduced blood flow) and bisoprolol(tachycardia). What could possibly be the reason?

Is it really asthma?
She said I should see a specialist because all tests I've done look fine: blood tests, X-ray, spirometry, ECG,
echocardiogram
. I'm also using a peak flow meter and my stats seem consistent, though there's a slight drop when I feel breathless (10-20%).
