Doxorubicin

Hi ladies I will be starting carboplatin/doxirubicin infusions in two weeks for recurrence. I am also going to be getting Keytruda. I would like to hear some of your experiences with this combo as.well as side effects. I am wondering if I will lose my hair again like I did with Taxol. My oncologist

I hope this is possible because she lived 6 months without platinum while she was on Doxorubicin. Thank you.

I went for my first IV chemo today doxorubicin pegylated liposomal. Unfortunately within 20 minutes I had an allergic reaction, tingling in the mouth, swelling and hives. The nurses were great and the doctor came to see me. Had an ECG and medications. One has wiped me out fernargon.

O (Obinutuzumab) CHOP (DOXORUBICIN (Adiamycin), vinCristine (Oncovin), cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), Prednisone) plus Neulasta ejections. April-May 2024 3 cycles of O CHOP until BMT in Later June. BMT donor 10/10 match June 17.

I have been on Doxil (IV chemo every 4 weeks, Doxorubicin) since June 2023 and the pain has been hard physically and emotionally. Yesterday my oncologist’s nurse practitioner mentioned Diclofenac helps with neuropathy/HFS caused by Xeloda (which I already had in 2021).

I was just notified today that I will need to start monthly infusions of doxil as my ovarian cancer which I was diagnosed with in December of 2017 is now spreading into my omentum and on my colon. Chemo will be carbo and doxorubicin. Has anyone experienced this combination of drugs? How did you get on with it?x

I don’t know if it’s because of the Liposomal doxorubicin. Anyone knows anything about this drug? God bless you all!!

The combination of melatonin with doxorubicin reduced primary tumor growth and distant metastasis.

It’s recently jumped up and a CT scan shows possible activity so I will now have Carboplatin and liposomal doxorubicin . The only downside is that I reacted to the Carboplatin at the end of the previous cycles so I have to be re challenged.

It was carboplatin sensitive, and I've now had two rounds of carboplatin (first with paclitaxel and then with doxorubicin), interspersed with bevacizumab, then olaparib. Unfortunately, it's back again.
