Early PD Stage Clinical Trials / Treatment Options?
Based on my reading so far, it seems that it is important to find treatment (which doesn't seem to exist) before too much
dopamine
is lost. So I wonder if any of you have insight / direction to share on clinical trials for early phase PD?

My Journey through withdrawal from Dopamine Medication.. "The Drug that became my demon". (Augmentation and Me)
I'm a 64 year old Austarlian lady who's had RLS for seventeen years. During the past year the drug Pramipexol helped less & less until finally after hours of research I found out about Augmentation. I belong to two RLS Forums on Facebook and it has been such a life saver to have that support from RLS

Meds 2 A review of PSP by top specialist.
On treatment he mentions L-
dopamine
and cholinergic treatment. Nether of which he thinks very helpful. We see him and he hasn't prescribed anything - which I think says a lot. You can access the article here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jcft9zk4ext3pn4/AACj5bfFqLVw_zVXbnsC_nlLa?

Do what calls your name
I have a sense of well being, and I believe have more
dopamine
production going on. Today I encourage you to create something, even if it is a stick figure. What are your hobbies? If you feel Parkinson pulling you down, without hesitation, go and do what you love to do!! Have the best Sunday!!

High Doses
With my health professionals not seemingly well-informed enough, even neurological consultants, I would not have otherwise realised the exact nature of the problem with
dopamine
agonists.

Is it OK to take Mucuna ALONG WITH Sinemet?
I am concerned if one can overdose on
Dopamine
by using the plant-based AND prescription, and Dad's Neurologist doesn't want to discuss Mucuna dosing.. or Mucuna at all. (Wish could find a more positive, open-minded Dr in our area (TN) but that's under a separate post.) Thanks Again!

Think you are all amazing.
My problem is simply that my body reacts horribly to all prescribed
dopamine
and epileptic agents. I simply cannot function on them. Clonazepam is the only drug that gives me night relief and some sleep.

Restless Leg Syndrome. Detox from Dopamine medication... My journey.
After being on Pramepipexole (Sifrol) for several years my GP is helping me detox from the
dopamine
medication because I had augmentation and my RLS symptoms were really bad each day and night. Now it's day 6 and tonight is my first night without any Pramipexole at all.

Appointment fail
When I mooted that Tramadol had helped me to an amazing degree she insisted she would instruct my GP - who's helpful but cautious - to prescribe
dopamine
agonists. She was insecure, shrill and narcissistic.

It is what happens to your body after drinking a can of coca- cola.
After 45 minutes: Your body ups its
dopamine
production that stimulates the pleasure centers of your brain. This is actually the same way that heroin works!
