My diuretic tablet was stopped on my last stay in hospital in Feb and now my feet and ankles swell every day. He wants me back on the diuretic from tomorrow. My cardiologist stopped me from taking Amiodarone last Aug, because I was so ill with it.

I'm on amiodarone 200mg and bisoporol 10mg, warfarin and a diuretic. left atrium measures 5.3. heart rate around 125. Amiodarone worked for six weeks and then I reverted back last week just before seeing EP. Docs up here in my area won't change meds to try others that I have requested.

The current heat wave doesn't help and my GP has increased my diuretic to the maximum recommended but I am still really suffering. I can see the fluid "wobbling" around on top of the foot - even my toes are "fat". I do put my feet up whenever I sit down - but this makes no difference.

I take a diuretic in the morning [ recently been prescribed ] with Lercanidipine, I then take a beta blocker at night, to spread the load so to speak. Does anyone take all their meds together or is this unsafe ?
