Dreadful treatment for Low Adrenal Reserve
I was taking
Dioralyte
(on prescription) but after a routine blood test my GP stopped them saying my potassium was dangerously high. I have been taking 1/2 tsp of rock salt every morning but I'm now increasing that in line with my salt cravings.

Dysentery anyone?? 😳
I hadn't been able to keep any fluids down that morning but she sorted a prescription for
dioralyte
and said to keep drinking little sips of it even if it did make me sick and the usual advice re flat coke to get sugar onboard Etc.

I'm so dehydrated I'm getting headaches and using
dioralyte

Body temperature very unstable with fever and chest infection
I cannot face much food (some fruit, herb tea with a little honey and
Dioralyte
and (I've vomited and had brief diarrhoea twice), a persistent tight headache around the eyes and persistent disturbing hallucinations/borderline dreams, which I've been vocalising in my half-sleep.

Ibs, dehydration and food allergies.
I agreed that it was very possible that I was dehydrated, I tried the
dioralyte
(but I'm sure you all know, it's a bit hard to make a drink when you're stuck on a toilet, and had no idea this would be the bad attack beforehand) so we never really found out if
dioralyte
helped, but I started to ensure

Sodium deficiency
I already take
dioralyte
each day but was pleased that he found this as I'd been feeling very fatigued all week and had just put it down to a trip to London and no real rest over the weekend . Hopefully I'll be full of beans soon. Already feel better than I did yesterday.

Urgent Cipro Question :-/
I have found that cold water makes me feel very unwell, but I can tolerate
dioralyte
, or warm water with a sprinkle of sea salt without feeling sick, shivery or faint. My appetite has been non existent.

Does anyone know how my mum can stabilise after going into freefall?
I think she's dehydrated and have told my dad to give her
dioralyte
but I'm not sure how much she can take of this. Since she started on Madopar and has had diarrohea she's been on a scary down hill slope. She was slow before but at least ok in herself.

to try prevent bad things happening with my bloods. for a while after drinking water with
dioralyte
in, my breathing goes a bit weird. could it be possible that its due to that, even though the stuff which is in it
