So unsure what to do...
Hello all. I am a 53 year old gay man and I have had raised PSA since 2020. My urologist performed a DRE and felt nothing and decided that we should watch the number and see what happens. 1 year later, the urologist decided to send me for an MRI and it showed no signs of cancer. Feeling relieved, I

Full circle with metastatic prostate cancer
I have gone full circle with my disease. Diagnosed at 52 in 2017 with PSA 100. 6 years later PSA is back to 100 with new spread of mets though out skeleton. I have done all the SOC treatments and changed diet. The cancer has found a way around it all. I have continued working through out but now I have

At last I've come to a decision.
Hi all, Well after heaps of research and asking questions and discussing everything with my RO and Urologist about treatment for my 4+4 PSA 8 PCa, I have decided to go the path of EBRT and HT. Starts as soon as I get back from my trip to the USA in late November with the insertion of the barrier gel

How to find a MO Specializing in PCa
I just completed a clinical trial lasting two years. My PSA has slowly risen from 0.06 to 0.12 over the last 15 months or so. My medical team was surgical and now I'd like to move to monitoring with a qualified MO as my PSA moves upward. Where does one start to find an MO who's focused on PCa? The

PSMA PET Scan result - false positive bone lesion?
My fathers PSMA PET scan ( at 0,23 psa) came back! Its been 9 months after surgery and PSA is around 0,18-0,25 and fluctated down at times. Everything was clear but a suspected bone lesion at L3 was found. The dr seem to think its false positive and said its probably nothing. We should just monitore

right knee replacement
It’s been a slow trip fighting arthritis on top of recurring PCA. Still on a Lupron vacation. Osteopenia cleared up after 21 months with only bicalutamide, T rose to 226, and PSA has stayed less than 0.1. I finally have a new knee! It‘s painful but every night is a bit better than the night before

Complementary Therapies - Your Experience?
My standard of care drugs are doing a great job of keeping my PSA down, but it would seem inconsiderate not to look into giving them a bit of help. I'm investigating these "adjunct" therapies with anecdotal or research evidence showing potential action against prostate cancer, and I'm just wondering

PSA 0.5, 6 yrs after prostatectomy
Hi all, My father's PSA has risen to 0.5 today. He had the prostate removal 6.5 yrs back in 2017. His gleason score was 8, PSA around 20 at the time of surgery. However post surgery, it was indicated that seminal vesicles were clean and no occurence in lymph nodes so it was indeed a localized tumor

declining psa
I’m 8 years post RP and my PSA has gradually been going up over the past 6 years. When it hit 0.1 I saw a radiation oncologist to discuss options. He said I had a biochemical recurrence but is happy to monitor things and would only consider recommending salvage radiation when I get closer to 0.2. However

ADT + darolutamide + docetaxel (ARASENS trial) has anyone tried it?
Hi people! My first update since the diagnosis. After less than one month of regrouping and ADT only (decapeptyl - triptotrelin, which got my PSA from 70 to 15), my MO decided to do the ARASENS trial triplet (with my full approval, I was going to propose him this protocol). Has anyone tried it?
