Ramipril.....lung and heart
Hello to all I have severe COPD and AFIB . Was in hospital in January with double Pnuemonia. Was treated with IV antibiotics and steroids. After a couple of weeks I felt better and then kept dipping and feeling worse. All the tests I had in hospital and recently have not once picked up any infection

Why am I breathless ?
Symptoms of AF have been fairly mild lately but have been suffering terrible bouts of breathlessness which can last for hours and wondering if this is a symptom of the condition or could it be some of my medication causing it ? I’m on Apixaban 5mg Bisoprolol 5mg Digoxin 125 and 5mg Amlodopine .Only diagnosed

Diltazem Viazem XL
I have been taking taking Diltazem for around 21/2 months now as an alternative to Digoxin which worked for me if I sat still but was useless for any kind of exercise which made my heart rate increase to very high levels. Diltazem has worked well in any situation be it sitting or exercise and I have

Post cardioversion advice?
Hi All, My first post but I’ve found this forum so useful in recent weeks so firstly a big thank you to those who contribute such useful material and advice! A short history - I’m 37 and have thankfully been very fit and healthy other than mild asthma up until becoming unwell with suspected COVID last

Digoxin low heart rate.
Hi everyone, been on Digoxin for a week or so and doc has upped my dose twice. I'm now taking 3 62.5 pills per day to find my right dose. My heart rate has gone from 130 to a low 55 so it's done the trick. My question is has anyone else had a very low heart rate on this drug. Beta blockers, tried 2 took

Post 24 hour monitor.
I had the monitor 10/11th of this month. The report says that it demonstrates atrial fibrillation throughout with some bradycardia episodes. Minimum heart rate was 27 bpm. There were 26 pauses with the longest being 2.85 seconds. They had already reduced my Nebivolol but decided to stop immediately

Not the best time to be ill!
I know I have written a few posts recently but I think its because I'm on my own. I feel I'm really struggling and not getting face to face care doesn't help. At least being admitted with a chest infection has put me on the map so I dont feel like a lost soul anymore and I am being discussed. But its

What is happening?
I have had a very strange experience. I have suffered with AF for a number of years. Usually had 1 episode every 3/4 years and always had to be electro cardio verted. Increased in frequency to the point where it was happening every few months with the last one in Mar 20 so ended up with an ablation in

Loss of appetite, change of taste, and sleeping problems following heart surgery.
I am new here. Had aortic valve replacement end of September 2020. Severe complications five weeks later led to fitting of a pacemaker and change of medication. On Bisoprolol 5 mg and Digoxin 2.5 mg and doing well. Great problem with appetite initially with rapid loss of weight. Disturbed sleep pattern
