Fast heart rate
I have a history of nicely controlled AF (ablation a couple of years ago) and atrial arrhythmias but 9 days ago my heart rate jumped to 135 and has stubbornly stayed there. After a trip to A&E I’m on digoxin and bisoprolol but with absolutely no effect. Any ideas?

Metoprolol
I have been on Digoxin, Flecainide and Sotalol without any good results but lots of side negative effects. New Cardiologist (an AP) has directed me to stop Flecainide and Sotalol and take Metoprolol instead... I'm not feeling much better, still on AF most of the time and a feeling of fainting. Any comment

Tiredness
I walk my dog between 3 and 5 miles a day and do core exercises at the gym twice a week so I think I should have a fair amount of energy. But I don’t! I wake up tired, I have episodes of feeling really tired throughout the day and am likely to fall asleep if I read in the afternoon or when I’m watching

AF meds and Valium
Hi all, don't remember asking this first because I'm super worry but, please, anybody has been prescribed Valium when on Digoxin, Flecainide, Sotalol? It appears to relax me and have better sleep, and I only have it some time. I don't think it affects me as it does to others. The Cardiologist prescribed

Aflutter getting me down.
Hi I would like some advice. I have had Afib for 5 years and was managing well on Flecanide. I had the odd breakthrough but as a whole I coped well on the drug. Then I developed atrial flutter out of the blue. I am not sure if Flecanide caused it or not. Since then I would say things have been tough.

Pace and ablatee
Hi from New Zealand. Im 78 yrs of age and was diagnosed with Atrial flutter and subsequent DC Cardioversion. This left me very tired and lasted about 4 months. I persevered with my love of club cycling but found i could not regain former strength and form. Ok i dont mind giving up the competitive spirit

Itchy skin
I’m on edoxiban, Entresto, Carvedilol, allopurinol, digoxin and dapaglifozin everyday, with furosemide at my discretion. Anyone experience night time itching with any of these? As soon as I scratch it pops up somewhere else. 🤔

Digoxin dose increase
Is anyone taking Digoxin? I have just had a dose increase and now on 187.5 mcg. Since the increase I’m really spaced out, foggy headed, nauseous, lethargic and tearful. Is this normal and does it pass when I’m used to it. I have done an econsult to the GP but whilst waiting on a reply interested

Cause of breathlessness
I wasn't quite sure which area to post in so here goes,I have COPD stage 4 and AFIB. I recently had a stay in hospital with pnuemonia in both lungs. I'm pretty sure the fluid on my lungs was caused by the AF because none of the sputum samples they took detected any sign of infection. I struggle to breath

Cardioversion not available on the NHS?
Hello all I was diagnosed with fast AF two years ago and put on 5mg bisoprolol which seemed to control it for about a year. The episodes then got closer together and more severe and my dose was upped to 7.5 and then 10mg. As this still did not bring the rate down Digoxin was added but seemed to make

Digoxin v Bisoprolol
Hi, I am in AF and hope to be cardioconverted in about 8 week but in the meantime I have been asked to stop taking Bisoprolol and use Digoxin instead. Is there any advantage to this?
