If I try and do the slightest exerting thing I am breathless shakey legs and arms and my heart rate goes through the roof and I drip with perspiration. I have regular ECG that shows permanant AF I feel my whole way of life has changed . Does anyone have these symptoms please.I finnally have Appointment with the Cardiologist on the phone I really dont want another cardia version they tried it 4 times that day without success. I feel all they are doing is throwing meds at the problem. Thank you for anyone who takes the time read.

hi

I was in AF Tachycardia Bradycardia. Arrythmia, arterial flutter and low blood pressure from end Dec 23 no heart regular heart rhythm all over the place 23-184bpm and every where in between.Apixaban and Bisoprolol 15/1/24 cardioversion but only lasted 11 day then back into AFib and the rest. April. 15 2024 did cardio Ablation on right Atrium took 6 weeks to take full effect then stopped. However still issues with left atrium. 1/8/24 had cardiac monitor implant injected into chest as heart is so screwed up. Linked via phone app to hospital 24/7 and I can post symptoms and comments on it. 15/1/25 had cardio Ablation on left artium lasted 2 1/2 days. 5/1 tried cardio version again lasted 15 minutes. All beta blockers 4 different types don’t work in qty. calcium blockers likewise. All side effects made me so ill. Headaches nauseous light headed. Breathless, suddenly fall asleep spent all day every day trying to keep awake .now on Digoxin doesn’t lower my low blood pressure almost feel normal, it’s supposed to suppress my heart rate - doesn’t. Makes my heart beat stronger so now banging away all day around 140-150bpm . AFib, Arythmia and still Tachy cardicApixaban makes me light headed and breathless can’t do exercise. July 24 my consultant stopped them 12 hours later back to normal.

Had to go back on Apixaban again 2 weeks before next surgery. Guess what breathless etc again. Waiting for futher ablation with new technology that y around few months Optrell mapping catheters. Ordered in for first time at my London Hospital all computerised has a better success rate for complex cases. I’ll be first at my hospital just waiting for a date. Apparently the more ablations you have the better the longterm success rate. I’m running out of options😩

Apixaban is a blood thinner with the least side effects !! Spoken to consultants. My surgeon, GPs pharmacists and there are alternatives but non are better !!

Wish you all the best
