Medications and food to avoid, applies to most of us who has RLS. This is taken from the www.rlshelp.org website..
Drugs and Foods to avoid to improve RLS This section will discuss various drugs and foods that may worsen RLS. Things that cause worsening of RLS in some patients may not bother others in the same way; in fact, others may even be helped by these same medications or foods that worsen others. Please

DR B REPLIES....... NEUROLOGISTS OUTCOME
From Dr B.... Unfortunately, the top neurologist who you saw is clearly not a top RLS specialist. His advice is absolutely incorrect and as you have noted it should not be followed. You are already on a high dose of Mirapex (Mirapexin) and are developing augmentation (worsening of your RLS from

Azilect and Wellbutrin
Anyone taking Azilect with Wellbutrin XL? I think my husband is in need of an antidepressant and I have read that Wellbutrin is one of the ones that may increase dopamine. What other ones are you taking and how are they working for you? Thank you. This community is a blessing and so are all of you.

Has anyone here tried the herbal dopamine, Mucuna pruriens, and, if so, how much are you taking and how are the results?
I have asked my Park Dr. about it and while she is not informed about it she would not be adverse to my trying it as long as I have been on traditional pharmacuticals first so we would have a basis of comparison. She also said she wants me to purchase herbals and supplements from western Europe as they

after taking mirapexin without success. I went on to Requip, slowly increasing the dose until I got to 8 mg, then I started get hallucinations, sparkly vision, hearing voices, etc. I reduced down to 6 mg and all those unwanted symptoms went. Self managing PD - Are we serious or not?
I’m back. With good reason though, inspired by a message I received, I decided to post. The following issues, in my opinion, are not being addressed properly within the whole pd community. (I am in the UK but this could equally apply anywhere). Ok here we go. (Another lengthy one) The drugs
