MY journey and tips on feeling well
Your
DHEA
is low so you may require more testosterone and more Thyroxin. Incidentally this is for men.

If my doctor offers Thyroxin, do I decline at this point?
In Jan, I did a saliva test to check my adrenals, which showed I am in the resistance stage of Adrenal fatigue - with my
DHEA
low, and cortisol levels low in the morning. A few weeks ago, I did another private urine test to check my thyroid, which showed my T3 low and T4 normal.

feeling awful: Dhea and Testosterone Oestrogen
Now here is the important bit, for a healthy function of the thyroid,
DHEA
, testosterone in men and oestrogen in women plus the thyroxin. I do not seem to see this mentioned in any of the posts other then over dosing of thyroxin.

Genova Tests
Adrenal Stress Profile Cortisol and
DHEA
. Had one before which suggested a retest to show if static or free fall though GP said she didn't understand it. I've also seen one that is as Adrenal Stress Profile as above plus IgA but not sure what that is or what it means.

Saliva test for Adrenals V 24 hr urine collection
L My
DHEA
is way too high as well, but at least my Adrenals are still functioning! Newly diagnosed Primary Hypothyroid! But at these levels I'm sure to experience burn out. Is urine output testing better than saliva? I would be very grateful for any comments. Thanks

After a lifetime of low blood pressure, it has gone high. Afraid doctor will try to blame it on me taking Armour.
My last Genova test 20 months ago showed: Total daily cortisol 6.5 (ref range 21-41),
DHEA
Mean 0.06 (ref range 0.30-1.00). Was treated at Sutton CFS clinic for around 6 months. Or could menopause start be important? I'm 48. Any advice on all this appreciated:) Angela

Addisons or LOCAH? Confusing results...help needed.
Hi, I am hoping that someone can help me make sense of my cortisol and androstenedione results. My endo did a full range of bloods to rule out Cushings and Late Onset CAH. Am i right in thinking that the results below are indicative of LOCAH and Addisons? The reason i ask is that LOCAH has been ruled
