Decreased Renal thresh hold.
My Fasting BS is 120 mg/dl and PP is 165 but at the time of PP BS sample collection Urine shows 2+ glucose. Is this the condition of decreased renal threshhold or problem in kidney. What would be the complications and treatment.

Can anyone help? I'm new here.
Hello all. I have been having ongoing problems for 2 years. They are getting worse. Besides joint problems such as TMJ, carpal tunnel, and knee problems (surgery on all), I have been having other issues. Feel like I’m living life in a fog. Awful concentration. Cluster headaches/migraines. Muscles

Blood results advice please
I'm after a bit of advice for my mum. She is feeling tired all the time and has high/fluctuating blood pressure, high cholesterol, impaired glucose metabolism and some abnormal kidney results. Her GP says her thyroid is fine (surprise surprise!) but I'd be grateful for any thoughts. Would you try thyroid

Diabetes: can you really eat to beat it?
Article taken from The Guardian
Just over four years ago, my GP gave me unwelcome news: I had type 2 diabetes. I was shocked. I didn’t match the stereotypical patient profile of an overweight couch potato. Aged 59, I was thin, fit and 5ft 7in tall, drank frugally, went running every week and weighed

Acarbose - experiences ?
But the last one I had I didn't take
dextrose
as I normally do and it passed just as if I had .And they seem so random ,more connected to mental stress than food intake . And I don't get any diarreah or stomach cramps with them ,as I do with traditional dumping .
