I have a 5 year old child, both mum and dad asthmatic so he is treated for asthma with both brown and blue inhaler but not fully diagnosed yet. For the past

Changed prednisone to dexamethasone with Zytiga; lowered PSA after one month
It's been advised on here by others but I wanted to update for others in our situation--where enza quits working and Zytiga may get a boost from the change. The MO easily agreed to the switch to dexa in January when my husband's psa rose 2+ points to 13.56 on 1/6/20. After using dexa for about a month

Allergic reaction to Carboplatin
I’m on my second line of carbo 5 cycles in. Yesterday I had an allergic reaction to it and they had to stop the infusion. I had nausea and a red rash. They said it was a grade 1 reaction. I am a bit despondent as I only had less than a third of the dose. Has anyone else had this experience? I hope the

After 4th Xofigo injection, bone marrow 'crashed'? - Cancer or side effect from Xofigo?? Next step??
My husband seemed to be responding to the monthly Xofigo injections until the 4th one on Dec 5th, which caused his blood numbers to crash. He ended up in the ER 2 weeks later, on Dec 20th, with hemoglobin around 6, so they gave him 3 red blood cell transfusions which brought him up to 8.4. (we were

Therapies Targeted to Androgen Receptor SignalingAxis in Prostate Cancer: Progress, Challenges, and Hope - published December 2019
I was doing some research on ARL702H, which the Guardiant360 revealed for my husband. I think ARL702H is brought on from being on Zytiga + prednisone. - and this may be why switching from predisone to dexamethasone can help the Zytiga to continue working: Role of Androgen Receptor in Prostate Cancer

Severe joint pain while on Zytiga + dexamethasone + temazepam (for insomnia from dexamethasone) along with xofigo and xgeva
Has anyone else experienced odd severe joint pain that moves around, comes/goes and doesn't respond to OTC NSAIDs or Tylenol? Fast acting OXY 5s help, but can't take them due to possible serious interaction with the temazepam. After taxotere, then 1-1/2 years doing very well on Lynparza + Zytiga +

Treating Itp with Herbal Supplements
Hi! I'm a newbie here! I came aboard to find a natural way to treat Itp. Since Prednisone isn't cutting it. Dexamethasone and Eltrombopag also didn't take. The Doctor's want to try rituximab next and I'm a little bit leary of that one. Then of course, if that doesn't work, they'll want to take my spleen

Pelvic MRI on Thursday at MDA
So, thirteen months ago I’m at MD Anderson and bone scans reveal metastasized prostate cancers in bone and lymph nodes in hips - rib cage and sternum as well. PSA was 96 and Gleason was 4+4. Since then the cancer has been suppressed and PSA is negligible. This was accomplished by a combination of injections
