New here. My story.
In late November 2021, I was diagnosed with advanced Prostate Cancer. My PCa is believed to have metastasized to three lymph nodes (lower neck, diaphragm and lower back). I say “believed” because the metastasis has not been confirmed. My Gleason scores were all 9’s and 10’s. My oncologist and Urologist

Ozempic
I have Type 2 Diabetes and the beginning of Stage 4 Kidney Disease. My endocrinologist just took me off Metformin to try Ozempic. Has anyone with kidney problems taken Ozempic? Has it helped the kidneys or just diabetes?

Worried about husband type 2 diabetic
My husband is on metformin and has now had it increased to 2000 mg daily with another tab now included called for Dapagliflozin 10mg, but when he’s using the urine dipstick the colour is dark brown which indicates far too much sugar, he’s been passing blood for three weeks and was given antibiotics for

Tinnitus and metformin
Hello, I have had tinnitus in the form of a hissing sound in both ears since January 2020. I thought I was coping with it OK, it had essentially become background noise but in the past 5 weeks it has gotten considerably louder which coincides with taking metform for diabetes at two tablets per day, prior

Migraine aura without the pain
Years ago I occasionally had a migraine, mostly when I was a student, but recently I’ve had almost daily occurrences of experiencing the aura, but no pain. It’s really inconvenient as obviously it affects my eyesight temporarily, if even for only an hour. Just had sight checked with Specsavers, and

One Year Post Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate in late October 2020. After initially being on Eligard for 4 months my PSA had dropped to around 2.0, and the Oncologist was happy. My next PSA test after a further 4 months which included a continuation of Eligard and 25 radiation treatments

Raised liver enzymes
I had a total thyroidectomy following it being enlarged and covered in cysts in August 2018 - blood tests also showed my thyroid levels were falling out of range. This followed a partial thyroidectomy for the same reason in 1994. 10 months after the 2018 surgery, so by mid 2019, my thyroid levels balanced
