Hi, I'm "TappedOut". I am 38years old with Type I diabetes since age 5. Need advice on switching from Cytomel to NDT
Hey guys! 28 year old male here. T3 and T4 have been low for the past few years, always with normal TSH (1.5-2.5ish). A few months ago I started using 1/2 grain NDT + 12.5 mcg cytomel BID. I wasn't able to afford lab work during these months but for the last month I've just been taking 25 mcg cytomel

Taking T3 50mcg.
So I'm taking cytomel (t3) My tsh and t4 are suppressed (0-0.20) range like they suppose to be when you take t3. BUT my T3 is on 2.3 from a range of (2.0-4.4 pg/mL) Before I had TSH. 5, very high..and reverse t3..high too. Should I up it to 75mcg? I just don't want to go hyper and start losing muscle

25th May - is World Thyroid Day
https://www.thyroid.org/world-thyroid-day-2017/ I wonder how those who make the Guidelines and who withdrew T3 in the UK to those who desperatey needed it to be well, will promote this day? Three excerpts for ATA and I believe the BTA follow these guidelines too. Desiccated (dried and powdered)

Need Pharmacy info for Greece/Crete
Hello. My endo has taken me off T3 after 10 years due the fact "it's not proven to help". Idiot. I have about 2 months supply left. My DD is visiting Greece and a couple of islands this week and offered to try and buy some for me. The girl in the shop in Crete said it did not exist in Greece. Should

T3 Only Users Advice
Hello, I have posted a few times here and have always received great advice. I am struggling a lot with my treatment. I switched to T3 only but reacted poorly to the fillers in Cytomel (combined with being under medicated). I had to switch back to NDT, which I also do not feel well on, more weight

Euthyroid Achievement Possible With Once-Weekly L-Thyroxine Most patients normalized thyroid function with 12 weeks of higher dose
Sorry - but this appears to be the same poorly conducted "research" we have seen so often. Just 180 patients. What was the definiton of "restoration of euthyroidism"? Is it really feasible that TSH, FT4 and FT3 were all "restored" every day of the week? Or can we assume that the results were within range

Looking for the best T3
I've been taking Cytomel for the past three years. I've lost my insurance and it's very expensive- $175 for 100 tabs. I've been looking at alternatives. There is Grossman's Cynomel, which I can order from Mexico for a fraction of the cost. I'm also looking at Unipharma. If you have any experience

Lost
Okay. So my leavers were optimal on tsh, freeT3 and freeT4. I then was put on 50,000 of vitamin d twice a week for the last few months and vitamin B. Don't know if this was the reason why but my last labs my tsh was .2 and my free T4 was right at the top number of the range and my free T3 was tiny bit

Lab Results on 2 grains NDT - Switching to T3 Only
Hello, I have written a few posts about feeling awful on NDT (went as high as 3 grains) and wanting to switch to T3 only with as much advise as I can get. I was advised to post my labs in a separate post, I have them listed below. I have started on 30mcg of Cytomel. I do not feel any better as of yet

I’m new here - taking Thyroid Support Supplement istead of NDT
I am a 52 year old male who has been Type 1 Diabetic for 27 years. After several months of visiting different Endocrinologists I finally found an Endocrinologist who ordered a more complete set of thyroid tests for me. The results from the tests done on 20 April 2017 were as follows: TSH

Help with switching from NDT to T3 only
Hello, After discussing my many symptoms that absolutely will not go away with my doctor he has agreed that T3 only is the next best option to try. The only issues is that he does not know how to transition me or dose me. He said I can basically take charge of this since I have no so much research, but
