Cytomel/T3 added
My PCP added
Cytomel
9 days ago due to the weight gain, poor mood, and pain in muscles especially legs. Since the
Cytomel
was added I have horrible pain in my legs and back. Barely able to walk! Anyone experience this with T3 added?

Mega low TSH normal T4 & T3
I'm on 100mc Levo and take half a
Cytomel
so 12.25 T3 and have only got my health back on track this way, I returned to running and my mental health and memory have improved. I'm guessing my TSH may react slower than expected to falling hormones levels?

Cannot tolerate Thyroid meds?
I've tried various meds/combos; levo,
cytomel
, NDT, and SR t3
I'm currently taking 37mcg levo/ 2.5 mcg t3
This is the most I can tolerate and still have to take a day off every several days- I'm now about to take a 24 hour saliva cortisol test as I truly feel like my cortisol is low all day

Anxiety on Testing and Endo Meeting
You can get a good idea of my recent experiences in my thread titled, Update on
Cytomel
Titration. Pretty much it’s been almost a good 6 weeks on 75 T4 / 25 T3, taken together in the morning. As I was feeling over-medicated I took 18.75 T3 (three quarters of 25mcg
Cytomel
tablet).

Anti-body test after 27 years?
After about 1,5 years it changed into hypothyroidism and since then I'm on levo and since a few years
Cytomel
(T3) is added because of symptoms (which have slightly improved).

Links wanted for articles about the irrelevance of low TSH especially when taking T3 - also odd results!!
My results were from a morning blood draw, having not yet taken my meds (100mc Levo plus 12.5
Cytomel
) strange the hormones are so low and TSH also so low, my FT3 GP recording a year ago was higher at 4.00 pmol/L when I was only on Levo!! Serum TSH level 0.01 mIU/L .

Thyroid Levels
I have been on just about every synthyroid and have always taken 15mcg
Cytomel
now im currently on Armour Thyroid 2 grains (I feel good) but labs keep dropping. Could the Psoriatic Arthritis cause the low levels, I keep reading about inflammation and thyroid levels.

Test results...What do you think
Hi everyone I've been on Armour Thyroid now for 7 weeks (2grains) and I feel fine compaired to being on Synthyroid and
Cytomel
but, my numbers keep plummeting inspite of Armour thyroid being a lesser dose then my synthyroid and
cytomel
(88mcg synthyroid and 15mcg
Cytomel
) NO FT3 lab was preformed ..

Cutting Cytomel and Bioavailability
I do my best to mix two halves to form the original 25mcg
Cytomel
tablets. My question... is the bioavailability possibly spread unevenly? As life has made me very anxious these days maybe I need to just wait it out.

Synthroid or Armour
I assume that it means that my T4 isn't converting into T3 and in my upcoming doctors appointment I am debating if to ask for my medication to be changed from Synthroid to Armour or to ask my doctor instead to just add
Cytomel
to my Synthroid.

Should I just keep taking the SMALLEST dose possible of the

Reputable source of T3?
I've got a background of hypothyroidism caused by Graves' disease, previously treated by Levothyroxine and
Cytomel
while working in the USA. Since I moved home to the U.K.

Nodule pain?
Well recently I had
Cytomel
added to my meds and it worked great for about a month, then just off. Well here I sit today with what I believe is my nodule which is now a lump (as near as I can recall it’s the same thing they removed from my left thyroid years ago) that is quite painful.
