I've been injecting subcutaneously for 3 months. Today, I forgot to push the air out of the syringe first. I injected into my thigh with a 2ml needle and 1ml of B12. There was a small amount of air at the top next to the needle. Hopefully, I didn't hit a blood vessel but I can't be sure. Should I be worried? Any advice appreciated!

Nothing to worry about at all. Obviously its better to expel the air, but you need a lot of air to cause a problem, like a whole syringe full or more injected rapidly. Any air injected will be absorbed by your body and won't be a problem.
If something like this happens again I suggest you dial 111 dont come to the forum that kind of thing needs immediate professional advice
