Bloods

I think it's unconnected
I'd say unconnected. I was diagnosed with diabetes in my 30s, way before I developed PA. The diabetes has got no better or worse since the PA arrived.
I have type 2 diabetes & I also have B12D. The symptoms are very similar and it is easy for me to be unsure which needs attention. I take a finger prick blood glucose test every morning before I have eaten or drunk anything and aim for it to be under 7.0 mmol/mol. I regularly have my HbA1C levels checked in a venous sample at the doctors. This gives me my average blood glucose for the last 3 months and it must be under 48 mmols or I have to lose weight fast to get back in control. This link tells all we need to know about type 2. ncl.ac.uk/magres/research/d...
Thanks find that interesting and helpfulWhere can I get glucose tester
Your HbA1C can be checked by your surgery by taking a blood sample from a vein. It is best to do this first before doing regular finger prick checks. They will advise on the results from this and if you need to take action will tell you what you need to do and if this includes daily testing your fasting blood glucose first thing in the morning. If they say you have to buy your own blood glucose meter then I suggest these: glucorx.co.uk/product-categ...
