My gp just wants me to keep popping anti depressants and the counselling and if doesnt help refer me to a phyciatrist like im just being a hypocondriac or just plan nuts.

Would anybody recommend me to get a brain scan or some sort of counselling? Thank you so much x

I have had a few series of counselling. The problem is that I was not willing at the time to really talk about the trauma. Which sounds silly now, but I wanted to focus on relationship problems instead - which I rekon is a part of my OCD in fact!

I know the law over here requires the clinic to offer you to have counselling which I whole heartedly agree with. However in Spain it is not mandatory. I am still wanting for us to have some implication counselling but can’t seem to find where to begin to find this sort of counselling.

Also for those who’ve used counselling as part of the cure how effective was it?

I keep going back and forth with the GPs who keep saying it’s anxiety causing my symptoms and to see a physio or chiropractor and have given me leaflets on counselling. I’ve managed to get an ultrasound on my neck lump although the GP said they weren’t too concerned.

HI I'm just wondering what support/counselling people with heart disease have been offered when having to make difficult decisions regarding treatment and prognosis. My experience is that there was none. I was wondering what others have found.

Stupid exercises counselling gives lol. How do u feel? Angry sad? Happy disgusted? Allow yourself to see past surface feelings or situations. Ask yourself how do you feel.
