Anyone taking hydrocortisone with mid-high serum cortisol, but lowish saliva?
Hi All, I am trying to evaluate my options. Next is cortisol. My blood serum is always good, over midrange to high, but saliva tends to be low on a couple of points and normal/high on the other three (I do 5 point saliva). I have some hydro at home, but not sure I should take it with good blood serum

Sex hormones
Does anyone know if 26.3 (16-124) is lower than ideal? My testosterone was bottom of range but now ok with HRT. I’m trying to get to the bottom of my low cortisol and whilst this is in range, wondered if it should ideally be higher like your thyroid? Many thanks

Help needed interpreting saliva cortisol results
Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate your help interpreting my recent cortisol results. I posted them last month but I’m still unsure about what to do in terms of addressing. I’m still incredibly symptomatic and can tick off many of the symptoms listed on the link at the foot of this post. I

Adrenal cortisol expertise needed
Hi! I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue / low cortisol 10-plus years ago and take 10 mg of hydrocortisone (tablet) in the morning and at noon. I just received results of diurnal saliva cortisol test and am surprised/confused at the results. Does this group help with adrenal issues, or is there a different

Do I need more T3 on T3 only?
Dear all, You have all been very hel pful - I never cease to be amazed as to how supportive this forum is. I am wondering if you have any thoughts about my dose of T3. I am now on 62.50 mcg T3 (Thybon Henning) private prescription from my private Thyroid doctor. I take three doses, 6 am 22.50mcg

Low testosterone 35y/o F
Hi all, I had a female hormone panel done because I suspected something was awry with sex hormones alongside Hashi's and extremely low cortisol (currently on levo, T3, and hydrocortisone). It's come back with good estrogen and progesterone but almost undetectable testosterone: Testosterone: <0.087 (<

Thyroid, anemia, cortisol and fake menopause - iron IV on Monday
Hey everyone,I have been struggling recently with a lot of symptoms, mainly crushing fatigue to the point of dizziness and blurry vision. After years of trying different meds, it is now clear I don't tolerate meds because of other factors. I clearly need higher dose of thyroid meds, but they don't work

possible flare or low cortisol
Hi, reduced my prednisolone about 2 weeks ago to 4.5mg from 5mg and have been okay until today. A couple of twinges here and there but manageable. Today I’m feeling awful, headache, pain in back, legs, feet and shoulders/neck. Absolutely exhausted and feeling tearful. Could this be a flare do you think

How much exercise needed?
I get
cortisone
shot to hip this week and plan replacement in 2024 so those will help but right now all I can manage exercise-wise is 8000 steps a day (if that), spread through the day, a weekly session with physical therapy where we work on strength training and 5-lb dumbbell exercises 2 or 3 x per

Synacthen Test Result
Hi allJust recently got result from endo. Obviously it rules out Addisons which is good and I responded to the inj. The second blood draw was actually done 40 mins post administration but I'm assuming that wouldn't have affected the overall result too much. However I know my baseline blood cortisol is

Fatigue and Tapering
As my previous posts say I had gradually tapered down to 11mg a day about two weeks ago. I have now tapered to 10mg and have started to feel very tired, weak and drowsy during the day although I cannot say I am feeling any PMR symptoms. Is this likely to be caused by low cortisol because my adrenals

Low cortisol but within normal nhs range
I have had 2 blood cortisol tests at 9am 1st one was 133 nmol/L and the 2nd one was 233 nmol/L . My pred experience scares me.
I really need some help understanding what's going on in my body. In late April I had been at 25 mg for a while with mild PMR-like symptoms. Then, one day all my symptoms went away after I made a big positive life change. I then tapered down to 6 mg over a three month period without any problems.

Leg spasms
I had a
cortisone
shot in each knee about a month ago . This has helped me so much, however, I have been having leg spasms everyday. I wasn't sure if there was a connection between the shots and the spasms, but after reading some comments, I now feel there is.
