Hi! I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue / low cortisol 10-plus years ago and take 10 mg of hydrocortisone (tablet) in the morning and at noon. I just received results of diurnal saliva cortisol test and am surprised/confused at the results. Does this group help with adrenal issues, or is there a different group where I should post my request? Thanks!

I would say post your results and someone should be able to comment.
Yep, just post the results. Would say that if you're on HC for adrenal fatigue rather than adrenal insufficiency/Addison's, 10 years is a very long time to be on it - you would usually want to be on it for no more than 2 years and then wean off it, because part of the reason for taking it is to be able to get your thyroid meds tolerated and thyroid levels good enough to eventually support your cortisol. Were you diagnosed with Addison's? Curious because it's usually incredibly difficult to get any doctor, even private, on board with HC for adrenal fatigue! I'm self-treating with it at the moment for that reason. Also, did you take the saliva test while still on the HC? If so, that might be why results are confusing - you can't get accurate results while you're on cortisone.
