Hi Everyone My trigger finger recurred after
cortisone
jab in February. Recently developed symptoms similar to costochondritis (painful sternum and tight chest muscles) after vaccination and lasted over 2 months. Called Pharmacist in Biologics and he hadn’t come across such incidents.

Appt Hell Week
Monday I go to my podiatrist The
cortisone
shot he gave me back in Feb just isn't working as well as it did last year. So he sends me to a physical therapist to help with my plantar faciitis.

Are you able to take Levothyroxine with Low cortisol?
Are you able to take ANY Levothyroxine with Low cortisol while the low cortisol reason is still being investigated? I may just be impatient (I am), but I want to feel better and waiting for the Endo referral will be stressful as I’m sure appts may take weeks and weeks… I was wondering if it’s some to

Be prepared… A rant it’s on its way to you. Sorry 🙊 I finally managed to see a GP and “discuss” my blood test results. I went in armed with the following print outs - Last 4TSH results spanning over a year (all at least 3 months apart) - Hypothyroidism symptoms checklist - NICE guidelines on Subclinical

What are the essential things to do before I start T3 ?
Hi everybody! I hope you can advise. I am hoping to try T3 very soon and have been reading one of Paul Robinsons books and trying to prepare. He strongly recommends having a saliva cortisol test and also an 8am morning cortisol blood test before starting T3 medication. So I was hoping if you could

Starting investigation - Blood Test queries..
Hi! After my first post I managed to speak to a GP and mentioned to them that my most recent TSH was elevated (5.63) along with other stuff and he agreed that at the least I have subclinical hypothyroidism and agreed to do more bloods including a cortisol test to check for Cushings due to my symptoms

Axial Spa / Ankylosing Spondy diagnosis
This despite the same guy hitting me up with a
cortisone
injection in my shoulder due to inflamed tendons. Since then I have had a bad bout of uveitus, psoriasis outbreaks on my face and night back pain has ramped up a few more notches in the last year forcing me out of bed at 4am.

Bursitis / groin pain
Is my only alternative having a
cortisone
shot? I over extended myself by painting the living room and dining room, it took us a week but my hubby and I got it done. At 65 years old, I sadly can't do what I used to do without consequences and now I am paying the price.
