Post stents thoughts and feelings
Hello my lovely heart family Well it’s been just over 24 hours since my procedure of one stent in RCA. In my opinion I have been so far a rollercoaster of emotions... here is my personal thought processes that I have had whilst analysing my condition ... I will start with my positive thought process.

Am I at high risk reference to Covid19
Regarding Covid19, it states on the BHF site that anyone with a heart condition..inc past heart attack and stent should stay at home and are in high risk if Covid19 was detected. I was not happy at work so I expressed my concerns to my boss who sent me home. I was then informed I would get paid but

Did anyone else have a dead arm after surgery?
I had my large endometriomas and endometriosis removed, with a stent put into my ureter, two weeks ago and after the op (6 hours), my arm was completely dead and I had no feeling in my right hand, all the way up to my right shoulder. The doctors weren't concerned it was to do with the spinal injection

Stent procedure cancelled today :’(
Husband was due to have a stent in a few days but now it’s been cancelled. Obviously we are devastated as it’s 90% Proximal LAD stenosis and we have a 4 month old at home. 38 years old, no risk factors or known causes to this ongoing issue but his last stent also proximal but slightly less than this

Hi I recently had a heart attack (last week) and was fitted with a stent. My right artery was 99% blocked. I am quite shocked I had a heart attack so young and want to do anything and everything to not have it happen again. I am a little over weight, have only ever done exercise with walking and previously

Panic attacks
Hi all. I was watching tv yesterday and all of a sudden my heart pounded 3 times. I could see it moving my tea shirt. Has anyone else had those? I’m so frightened. I called my doc all they said was it will go but if concerned during the night call 111. I had a stent fitted in Dec. If anyone else has

I have been having short sharp stabbing pains under my left breast for several months
I had a heart attack in Feb 2017. I have 1 stent and lifelong medication. I went to the hospital several months ago, but they said everything was ok. Why do I get these pains? Occasionally, they really DO hurt

Anyone experienced this??
Hi all. I’m currently helping my mum recover from her heart attack and heart failure. She’s 77 and every day is a different day. We have some good ones and bad. Yesterday was a good day. I’ve just called round this morning while she was having her breakfast and she said her mouth had gone really dry.

Anxiety
Hi all, I’m new to the group. I am looking for a bit of support and advice on knowing what pain I should be worried about and what I can ignore. I am unable to physically join a group currently so just trying to stop being so worried about every little twinge I feel. I don’t really want to use the GTN

Oeosophageal stent at GOJ -serious pain and inability to eat
Hi everyone After having battled my tumour back with 6 rounds of FLOT last year it unfortunately came back with a bit of a vengeance with some peritoneal metastases which have caused fecal impaction and bilateral effusions. Delays in getting theses symptoms treated resulted in me losing even more weight
