Static Shock

Hi All I hope you are well and enjoying the weather indoors whilst self isolating

Just a quick one for a couple of days now I keep getting static shock when I get out of my car could it be do with my stent?

Have any of you experienced them before?

It’s pretty painful and not nice feeling at all

I've been in static hell for a week now. Even my dogs are scared to come near me for fear of another shock! Need more moisture in your environment apparently. I've taken to leaving my kettle on the woodburner, not hot enough to boil, and it seems to be working. Maybe a cup of water on a radiator would have a similar effect.

I used to get that a lot. My husband used to say I was talking rubbish. Now I make sure he gets out of the car first so he gets zapped instead of me. 😂 I think he believes me know. I used get it a lot from some supermarket trolleys. That was a long time ago. Well before my stent.

Yes it is pretty horrible but my husband is one of those people who doesn’t see a problem until it affects him then he solves it. We once had a wasps nest that didn’t bother him despite me and the kids all getting stung. Once he was stung he got rid of it. He solved the static zap in the car by touching a metal part on the door before getting out.
