Bronchitis, hospitalization and pancytopenia
hi everyone, I am currently on peg 45mcg/week and somehow got a nasty bronchitis that I was unable to shake. I was sent by my GP to the hospital ER to receive IV antibiotics and they decided to admit me because of my past history of having a heart attack and current stent (that’s another story). While

6 month study for use of stents versus placebo effect
Had the angiography/angioplasty friday. Obviously don't till the end of the 6 months whether I had a stent or not. Procedure went well not to uncomfortable just felt a bit of tugging. Choice of music to listen to. Problem after as groin incision decided to seep so ended up having injection to tighten

Down hearted
This is going to be long winded but it is getting me down. Those of you who have read my posts will know that in 2020 i had two stents fitted one in each artery which led to so many things appearing, frozen shoulder in one arm tennis elbow in the other. Due to walking as part of my rehabilitation i found

Stressed out by good news?!
Hey guys, Have any of you had one of these stress perfusion MRI scans? They show the blood flow to your heart muscle. I had mine last month and I have just got the results. Over all they are good...I had a 2x CABG aged 34 in January and the report from the scan shows I have 1/16th of my heart not getting

Blocked LAD
My LAD is 75-90% blocked. Angioplasty was abandoned and instead I had a stress test MRI. The doctor said blood flow was being restricted. I’m not showing any signs or symptoms and so he’s decided not to intervene. I’m terrified that something terrible will suddenly happen and every twinge I get I panic

overwhelmed
Lockdown and last child leaving for uni caused loneliness and the inevitable comfort eating. I went to doctors with heartburn and discovered it was a HA - stent fitted and new tablets I went home and within days was readmitted with biliary sepsis and statin related hepatitis. Then I went to Mexico

I have PMR and blood pressure just plummeted for no reason. Ideas???
I live in Australia. I started with PMR in late August 2021. It was hit with 50mg of Pred and that stopped the excruciating pain it's tracks. Then the hard part started. I initially knocked chunks off the Pred, coming down really fast from 50mg to about 6 mg in three months. I had the odd bout of neck

Lump on my arm after angioplasty and stent insertion
Hi, I had a HA a year ago and underwent angioplasty where they put 4 stents in. After the op as they were relaxing the clamp on my wrist, I had a large loss of blood under the skin, they put pressure on the bulging area and all was fine. A few weeks later I spotted a small lump at the site of the blood

Inability to work is frustrating me.
I am a veteran Realtor, over 47 years of full time self-employment as a Realtor. Because of this prostate cancer nonsense and it's subsequent treatment, I am finding myself more and more fatigued, overwhelming so. I always kept myself in good physical condition because of my life's career choice. I

My Mystery DNR
You may remember write about five months ago I posted my surprise, no rather shock, on finding the ambulance service had a DNR on me. I think I have now unravelled what led to this and personally I find it both frightening and infringement of my human rights. Apparently in the early months of the first

Well here I go again! W1R1
So to celebrate my 56th birthday (how did those years fly by) I decided to start C25K again. Doing this mainly to support my partner James as he returns to exercise after having a stent fitted 2 months ago. And what a beautiful morning I chose for this. Got out early before it gets too warm but
