Hi, I had a HA a year ago and underwent angioplasty where they put 4 stents in. After the op as they were relaxing the clamp on my wrist, I had a large loss of blood under the skin, they put pressure on the bulging area and all was fine. A few weeks later I spotted a small lump at the site of the blood loss and this has now grown to about 15 mm, it is firm to the touch and tender around the lump.
I spoke with my GP who dismissed it as nothing to worry about but could not tell me what it was, and it is getting bigger, my GP said the NHS does not remove such lumps and I am thinking of having it removed privately as it catches on things and more people are commenting on it.
Has anyone heard of this before please? The lump is about 5 cm above where they made the insert on my arm for the op.
Any advice on this would be most welcome.
Thanks
