Coracten

I have been on coracten for 2 months now and my ears seem to be playing up, started with one ear now both have become very muffled, could this be a side effect of this medication and should I tell my doctor

I am on 10mg x2 a day of Coracten. Angiogram cardiologist suggested this might be an option and my gp mad3 the change. After a echocardiogram and a 24 hour ecg monitor. I have another echocardiogram test on the 28th. Been off the other meds for a second day so far and feeling better a bit.

Hi, I was taken off Doxazosin but remain on the coracten (Nifedipine) as the Doxazosin caused bladder protons constant diarrhoea. My pressure ranges from 156/72 to 125/59. Do I need to contact my doctor again.

My doctor has just begun me on Coracten (nifedipine) and I was wondering if anyone saw results on it / did it work for you? I had never heard of using a high blood pressure med for Raynauds but apparently it is quite common? I am only on day two but am excited to (hopefully!) see some results :)

Hi I have been prescribed Coracten SR capsules 10mg twice a day for Raynauds. Anyone one using these, are they helpful, what are the side effects ? Many thanks, Patsy

The recent change to Coracten I think has led to side effects which I haven't experienced before. I've developed oedema in my ankles and my hair is thinning. I've had bloods done to rule out any other issues and have tried cutting the dose in half to see if this helps.

I’ve now been prescribed Coracten which is another brand of Nifedipine. They don,t do the 5mg ones so I’m on the 20mg moderate release so hopefully they will be ok. Thanks again for all your replies x

Iv been given nifedipine coracten 10mg capsules to take one per day. Does anyone no if this may help with the reddening. It's becoming embarrassing now because there so red. Thank you. :)

I'm on the Pravastatin, Enaplapril, Coracten nifedipine but refuse to take clopidogrel and Asprin. sorry my english is not that good due my hearing impartment.... thanks for your patient.
