Hi all, Thank you to everyone who responded to my previous post. Just to clarify it’s the Bayer Adalat Nifedipine that is no longer available. I’ve now been prescribed Coracten which is another brand of Nifedipine. They don,t do the 5mg ones so I’m on the 20mg moderate release so hopefully they will be ok.
Thanks again for all your replies x

I was very concerned when I heard about the Nefedipine no longer being available. I have recently been prescribed 10mg slow release, as the 20mg which I have been taking for 5 years, started to make me dizzy. I collected my 10mg prescription yesterday, produced by Coracten. Maybe you could get the 10mg. It seems a bit increase to go from 5 to 20. Has it made you dizzy. 20 wad making my blood pressure really low
hope it works well for you the coracten 30xl gave me terrible side effects i couldnt tolerate that form of the drug at all, switched to adalat la 40 and felt tons better.
