I have been on coracten for 2 months now and my ears seem to be playing up, started with one ear now both have become very muffled, could this be a side effect of this medication and should I tell my doctor

Hi AThe generic name is nifedipine, which I guess a lot of us take. My ears have had other problems. Good idea to ask your doctor.

I can’t see ear symptoms on the list of side effects, it’s probably something totally unrelated to the medication but you’d be wise to mention it to your GP to be sure. I’ve been on nifedipine for over 20 years for Raynauds and have never had any issues with my ears.
