Duration of ADT until castration resistence
If you ask your doctor how long the ADT will work until castration resistence begins, he will tell you probably two to three years. That is what I also read in many studies. However, many patients are asked to do three years of ADT after their radiation therapy. Are you usually castration resistent

Finally a diagnosis
Mum has lung cancer absolutely devastated but keeping positive. It’s stage IV as it’s spread to her spine so unable to be cured. Initially told mum would need chemo, then radiotherapy on her spine but had an oncology appointment straight afterwards and they decided as the cancer was EGFR+ they are treating

First 10k race
Did Race for Life today which for me was a first 10k race . Managed to finish sub 70mins which was my goal . This time last year had just finished radiotherapy and hadn't run at all. C25K has been the best thing that has happened to me and the support here is Amazing.

From all I can tell, radiological and surgical options have equal, and generally positive, prognosis for my bundle of symptoms, but am seeking info from anyone with similar bundle who is choosing a treatment or has had one -- especially if you've had combo HDR Brachy/external radiotherapy with Lopron

The MO (Jasek Pinski, MD) at USC Noris Cancer Centre, told me that he will put me on monthly injections of Degarelix (Firmagon) for 6 months and the RO will start the SRT 6-7 weeks after the first injection, he said that this will shutdown T level quickly and help the effectiveness of Raiation therapy

3.5 Years Post RT
Next Monday (5/13) will be my 8th PSA test. I finished EBRT in August 2015. In conjunction with the radiation therapy, I had Hormone Therapy (Lupron Depot) every 6 months for 2.5 years. Starting in October, 2015 my PSA has been checked every 6 months and has been "undetectable" at every checkpoint. Please
