Could This Really Be Undiagnosed Adult ADHD?
Hello, I am new here! I will be turning 30 years old within the next few months, which sounds like no big deal except for the fact I feel like when I look back on it all I never really accomplished much or completed much etc. What brought me here and to the conclusion that maybe ADHD played a huge

Anyone realize undiagnosed ADHD may have been the problem your entire life? Were you conditioned to not even question anything was "wrong"?

Hey everyone! I just had an appointment to check up on my meds. My methylphenidate aka Concerta. That’s the brand I take. It’s working, though the side effect of suppressed appetite is apparent. I’m at a healthy weight and the doctor and I agreed to watch it. My anxieties are still there and I can

New Diagnosis
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago and wanted to reach out. I have been on and off stimulants but I seem to have the strangest side effect from them. My neck always gets incredibly stiff and tight when I am on them, even at small doses. I have tried Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse

Looking for ADHD coach for my 20 year old son
My son turns 21 in July and he suffers from ADD predominantly inattentive. He was diagnosed in 5th grade and has been on Adderall and Vivace over the years. He can’t take concerta because he’s allergic. He functioned on meds until his junior year in high school and then he started self-medicating with

Diagnosed and starting Meds at 26 - What should I look for?
Hi there, This past Friday I went to a psychiatrist for fear I may have clinical anxiety or bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed with ADHD and my whole life suddenly made sense! I have been in therapy for 2 years and felt very hopeful to combine it with medication for treatment. I was prescribed Concerta

Well, I guess all good things must come to an end... Feeling pretty frustrated here. Our son, now 8 years old, was doing very well on stimulants. First concerta but then made the switch to biphentin. However he did not gain any weight in a year and was losing more weight towards the end of the year

Refusing to take ADHD medicine
My 16yr old son refuses to take ADHD meds. In the past we tried a few non- stimulants and unfortunately there were not effective. His psychiatrist wants to prescribe Concerta but my son is unwilling. He is irritable, defiant and stubborn. I’m frustrated and resorting to using “carrots and sticks” around

Drugs pits stent
Had stents done yesterday. Now given Perindopril (used prior to stents) Bisoprodol Fumerate, Trangina XL (used Momomax XL prior to stent) concerned they will lower blood pressure too much as prior to stent BP was 125/75 or slightly less. Was surprised that nitrates are continued too. Think it is OTT

PSA rising, won't be able to escape ADT. Any tips for brain-fog and depression handling?
Went to see my oncologist today. PSA is still rising. After my initial, and only so far, injection of Lupron in April, my PSA had gone down from 116 to 1.9 in May but I've never reached the non-detectable stage and stayed at around 2.2 for the whole summer. But from August onward, with Lupron out of

Skin problems while on Med?
I've been taking Concerta for about a few months. I've been noticing my skin becoming extremely itchy especially at night, and my face is beginning to get bumpy and red. I had acne before but it was never like this. I'm also in my 30's so, I'm not sure if it's a sign that I'm aging. Has anyone experienced

Can you have withdrawl ?
I posted earlier as I am new to all ADHD and stimulants. I was taking ADHD meds for a couple months. Trying low doses of concerta, and most recently adderall. Adderall is making me too anxious, so I stopped yesterday. Yesterday, I felt like crap. I slept most of the day away. Keep in mind, I was up late

Diagnosed at 40. Advice needed please :(
Hello everyone! I am a 41 year old female, and was recently diagnosed with ADHD-inattentive type at age 40. For the past few months, I've been trying to find the right medication to help me focus. My doctor had me try Concerta and Adderall. 10MG of Adderall did not work much, so she bumped it to 20mg

Strange question: Does Concerta make you burp a lot?
I'm taking Concerta and I realize that when I take it I burp more than when I wasn't taking it. Has anyone experience this, or am I being weird?

How long should I try a new medication?
Hello. I just started Concerta two weeks ago. 1st week 18mg absolutely no response, 2nd Week 27mg and only experiencing headache and tiredness about 6 hours after taking it. My question is, how long do you trial this medication before calling it quits and trying something else?
