Prostap/tibolone - regal study
Hi all, I'm 1 week into prostap and tibolone as part of the reval study and I'm not coping well. I dont want to be another horror story on the internet so to keep it brief my main concern is constant nausea (but I cant function) and worsened allergies (and I have a history of anaphylaxis as it is).

steel hardware in spine and ADT and Radiation
We are off to Mayo Phoenix tomorrow for three month post RARP check up. Not sure what will be suggested, but definitely looking for referrals to oncology and radiology oncology, due to his high/very high risk findings and pathology. He has two steel rods and 9 screws in his thoracic and lumbar spine

BCR May Not Be a Strong Surrogate End Point for Prostate Cancer Survival
A new study, below [1] & [2]. In 2004 I came across old studies that showed that ADT promotes changes to the androgen receptor [AR] environment. At diagnosis, the AR is invariably "wild type". When ADT failed, AR gene amplification was common. True mutations were rare. {This was sufficient for

3rd time hair loss in 2 years
Hi all, I'm coming up on my 2 year anniversary of BC diagnosis. Just over 1 years since I was diagnosed stage 4. This last week I started a new chemo for targeted therapy. This is my 3rd med switch in a year due to progression. I knew it was possible that I could lose my hair again. (1st time with

ADT + darolutamide + docetaxel (ARASENS trial) has anyone tried it?
Hi people! My first update since the diagnosis. After less than one month of regrouping and ADT only (decapeptyl - triptotrelin, which got my PSA from 70 to 15), my MO decided to do the ARASENS trial triplet (with my full approval, I was going to propose him this protocol). Has anyone tried it?

Does anyone know of a connection between undermedication and histamine intolerance, or if there are histamines in Armour thyroid?
My histamine intolerance symptoms have gone crazy of late, to the extent I've had to significantly change my diet. Histamine intolerance is something I have suffered with on and off for years, but nothing like it is now. I have 2 theories, namely one I am undermedicated or two Armour may be behind

from undetectable to 0.02
I have been undetectable for 3.25 years and today it came back at 0.02. My bio is up to date. We ran the test at the exact same lab as always and in 2 days I am flying back to my Sarasota home from Milwaukee and was wondering which lab is recommended for 2 digit accuracy? I know Labcorp only does 1

Aspirin trials
I have recently finished hormone therapy, last 3 monthly injection April 2023. Good result so far with PSA at <0.01. Met with my Oncologist today and he said there were trials using aspirin as a potential drug to reduce potential recurrence. Has anyone come across this and, even though the results

HRT and RLS
Hi, I just saw a reply on a post where Sue talked about HRT being a possible trigger. Are there any safe options? I am currently on Femeton and have just been put on a higher dose because of menopause symptoms. I’m wondering now if this is part of the problem. I would probably be suicidal if I

Need some guidance
2 years ago my daughter who is 6 now was diagnosed of ADHD and started with 10 mg of vyvanse but rapidly pass to 20 mg and ended up taking 40mg, one pill in the morning and at noon. And also take 1 mg of guanfacine Er to help her sleep at night which some time works or we need to give her melatonin.

Starting B12 injections
Hi I am hypothyroid, on Armour Thyroid but still dog tired all the time. I’m on HRT and I have horrible peripheral neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. I can’t walk well or for long at all. My gait feels really off. I’m stiff and have no muscular strength in my legs anymore so crouching down is impossible

HRT & RA experiences
hi, I’m wondering if there are others who have experience of RA improvement with HRT. My RA is relatively well managed.. one year in.. have a love / hate relationship with methotrexate (many other posts on this!), but am generally tolerating it better. I am having noticeable flares when I ovulate
