I have a colonoscopy on Saturday- so so nervous
I am a really anxious person and am literally stressing about everything to do with this procedure - the prep (oh I remember that from last time 😩 evil stuff), how the prep will make me feel, I worry I’ll still need the loo on the way to the hospital and am so worried about the actual

Hard Lumps in Stomach
My
colonoscopy
isn’t until September. It’s sharp pain when I press in that area. Sometimes massaging it makes the pain go away but not the lumps. Anyone else get this? Of course any lumps are often a concern about tumors and I’d love to hear that others deal with this and it’s not a tumor.

Anyone with Cirrhosis from NASH?
Nothing found on
colonoscopy
so told it was IBS. Recently had upper abdomen pain and had a CT scan which showed nodular liver. Now diagnosed with cirrhosis! I’m finding it really hard to deal with. There are many people on this forum with cirrhosis from ALD.

New Blood in Stool
I already had a
colonoscopy
scheduled for October, but I’m thinking this warrants a more urgent look. I’ve been informing my GI about these sightings. Since it’s the weekend, I haven’t heard back since Friday. I am concerned, but I’m hopeful that this is something like internal hemorrhoids.

colon cancer/scalp cancer link?
Reason I ask, I am awaiting scheduling for my
colonoscopy
(I'm in the USA, minimum 4-6 weeks wait to book an appointment). I am also having sores on my scalp and a potential enlarged lymph node about 4 fingers away from my left ear (again, making assumptions from viewing google photos).

blood test help
I have had a
colonoscopy
& sigmoid which were normal and stomach endoscopy down throat which found numerous gastric polyps which wouldn’t cause blood loss said consultant. So I’m at a loss where all this blood has come from that passing through my bowel.

recurrence or not? (Liver & stomach wall)
I had naively thought an OC recurrence would be pretty obvious but it the last few weeks I’ve have been told I probably have bowel cancer and lined up for a
colonoscopy
(cancelled) then a secondary on my liver which was not OC related & now might be OC related or might be a primary liver cancer. & then

Health Update
I freaked out mentally—anxiety overload—but I made an appointment for a
colonoscopy
. The earliest appointment was an 8 month wait. I was still feeling terrible from the HA so I tried really hard to put the
colonoscopy
on the back burner in my mind.

colonoscopy and AF
Hi all, I’ve had colitis for thirty years and have had a surveillance
colonoscopy
at five yearly intervals. I was recently diagnosed with AF and am now absolutely terrified of having a
colonoscopy
in case I go into AF while having the procedure.

Anyone taking probiotics for diarrhea?
I've had a stool sample and a
colonoscopy
to ascertain the cause but no luck. I've read that taking probiotics could help, but are people finding these helpful and safe for transplant patients -- if so, what specific brands and dosages are people taking? Thanks so much.

Diarrhoea saga continued
This then dictates the treatment and potentially saves the patient from having a
colonoscopy
. He wants to see me again when I've got the results. I am so glad that at last I'm getting something done.
