liver pain in side. Terrified
I am a heavy drinker who had a scare earlier this year where I was told I had reversible liver damage. I was sober for a month and bloods improved. I foolishly slipped back to my old ways of very heavy daily drinking and now have pain in my right side. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow and can’t see how

Is APS hereditary?
I'm just wondering because my dad's keeping getting these nose bleeds and it's just not stopping. He's just had an operation to cut the artery and doc said that will be the end of nose bleeds. Well it's not. He's got what looks like clots coming out of his nose. So I've said maybe mention me with APS

worried about the future
at what stage of liver cirrhosis, might you need a transplant? does anyone have any experience of an iron infusion? how serious is cirrhosis of the liver and is it a terminal illness; am I going to die? sorry for the questions but I can’t sleep and my brain is whirling around . I’m usually quite positive

Low BP
I've used Amlodipine for long time to help Raynauds, recently BP has become quite low so have stopped Amlodipine. Has anyone used Naftidrofuryl as it has been suggested as doesn't lower BP.

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Well, made contact with surgery ( I was 10th in the queue ) couldn't talk to anyone ( GP or Pharmacist ). Left a message and a return phone call a few hours later told me to take 2 blood pressure readings am and pm. for the next 7 days. Excellent stalling practice ! So, I've decided on a more aggressive

A quick update for those that remember my recent posts about the Ablation complications!
Ablation 16/3, artery got damaged, 3 outpatient appointments, 2 failed attempts at thrombin infusion under ultrasound, emergency 3 day admission to hospital with emergency pseudoaneurysm and arteriovenous fistula repair (pretty major surgery involving patching the damaged artery with cow veins) . Most

I started in AF last week and after 5 days of AF I have now gone into a regular high heart rate for the past 2 days. Under the instruction of the arrhythmia nurse I have increased my bisoprolol but it doesn’t seem to helping much. I have an appointment on Wednesday to discuss treatment plan while I

Some hope!
LONG POST! One of the things to bear in mind with Tinnitus posts, threads and forums, as many have mentioned, is that they turn into an echo chamber of devastation. People searching for answers in desperation on what to some can be the worst time of their life. We search and search for answers to help
