Clomifene

I may be offered ovulation induction medication to start with, Clomifene or letrozole (🤞🏻). If this is the case, would this likely be discussed at my first appointment/started soon after? My real concern is that my current BMI is 33, despite working hard on calorie counting and going to the gym.

It had to be frozen as my lining was not thick enough (Clomifene) but we did eventually get it transferred but sadly no success again. Im now on my 4th and final cycle (we're out of funds) and doing modified natural again.

I am just waiting to start clomifene. And i have been told i have three months to get my bmi under 30 im currently sitting at 31. Im finding it sooo hard to lose the weight. I will be devastated if they tell me we can not be placed on the IVF list due to me being overweight.

Due to the fact and I have Pcos and I don’t ovulate often, my gp referred me to a specialist. Looking at my blood tests, my husband’s semen result and the fact I got pregnant last year, he said it doesn’t look like I have a problem conceiving and it’s just due to ovulation not occurring every month.

I just wanted to share how this happened I was on clomifene for 5 months the first month on 50mg tablets i had a blood test & ovulated the second month 50mg of tablets had a blood test & didn’t ovulate the third month I doubled the dose to 100mg also ovulated then no more blood tests just stayed on 100mg
