Metoprolol, flecainide and prevention?
Age 59, lone paroxysmal AF for 12+ years which I have largely ignored because it wasn't that bad. It's been 4yrs since the last major episode but I suspect I am now in low-level AF a lot. I'm guessing at this because I don't have an AF app and due to the pandemic it's been nearly four years since my

AFib during Pilates
I have occasional AFib and a pacemaker. At the start of my weekly Pilates class (which I do for a sore back) I had a fast heart rate (112bpm) but went ahead with it (having informed the instructor). I took it easy but after 30 mins my fit bit said I had AFib so I just lay there until the end of the

anticipatory anxiety
tonight I am going to a concet. I’m not worried about getting sick as it is outdoors at a stadium. But concerts tend to make me a little nervous. Once I’m there I’m usually fine but it’s the anticipation. Also one of my friends may stay over my apartment. I’m close with her but we don’t see each other

Heart Ablation vs Just Continuing Medications
Hi! I am struggling with making a decision to follow thru with my scheduled Heart Ablation procedure, or just continue my current medications that I have been on for almost 3 years. I am currently taking Diltiazem, Eliquis, and Flecainide, and have not had an espisode since I started the Flecainide

Endless cycles
I was in therapy, and we talked about emotions and my problem with attempting to be vulnerable.I get frustrated and even if the initial problem is resolved, it lingers. Therapist states that it's because of a deeper emotion. All I can conclude is that I feel helpless. I do feel this way with a lot of

Hello I am in US and used to take 88 mcg Unithroid, and 30 MCG of Cytomel. Then the doctor discontinued my Cytomel. So I got some Grossman Cynomel from Mexico which works great. I have been on Cynomel for 3 months. I tested a month ago and had my Unithroid go down to 1.02 (range is .82 to 1.77

Is it the Medication or am I Losing it?
Do you do daft things? This morning I picked up my toothbrush and instead of putting toothpaste on it picked up a tube of face wash cream and spread that on my toothbrush, as soon as the brush went in my mouth I knew what I'd done. Last week I took a carton of orange juice out of the fridge and poured

Bupropion/Zyban/Wellbutrin and sleep?
Hello, I started 150mg over a month ago. I had sleep issues previously but now they seem to be getting worse. Psychiatrist has recently asked me to take 300mg as apparently I haven’t responded that well to 150mg. Feeling reluctant to do so. My HRT was adjusted at the same time by an endocrinologist.

Canada's Tania Sona Smith - Powerful summary of recent BTA's twitter arguments against T3
It was their opinion-based choice, as a medical discipline of endocrinology, to remove T3 from thyroid therapy in the 1980s and 1990s, without any double blind
trials
proving that removing T3 was "safe" for all hypothyroid patients.

Digoxin, upset stomach
My husband has been on digoxin for three weeks and has had to come off them for 7 days to see if that’s what has been causing lots of unwanted trips to the toilet for last two weeks . They have upped his bisoprolol from 7.25 to 10mg a day to see if they can eliminate the cause for 7days . I’m worried

Vivid dreams and disturbed sleep
I dread going to bed! I used to be such a good sleeper but since taking Sotalol I have suffered.Does anyone in this group who take Sotalol get the same problems? Often the dreams are so vivid and weird they wake me with my heart pounding and then I have to decide if it's triggered my afib. I must say

Visual disturbances after ablation
1 week post op and everyday I have had vision issues... blurriness, auras, tunnel vision. It happened while I was in the hospital still and they ruled out stroke, but the issue has persisted. Wondering if anyone else has experienced vision issues after an ablation and can provide some insight Thanks!
