Carbocisteine - possible side effect for CBD
My husband is in hospital recovering from silent aspiration pneumonia. He is now nil by mouth and PEG fed. His blood tests show he has no infection, his oxygen level is acceptable and his chest is much improved. However he is still being treated with Carbocisteine ( which helps to loosen and bring up

Terrible sleep issues
So now I’m 10+ weeks into treatment consisting of Lupron+Abiraterrone and have completed 5 of 20 radiation sessions. In many ways things seem to be going very well. My PSA numbers have gone from 8.4 to .2 and still falling. My side effects have been minimal , only lately have I seen some mild hot

Tim Brown's 3rd PSP Chronicles Beyond ..
I was going to mail Tim privately but have decided to post openly to 'daddyt' as what I want to say is relevant to us all. I bought Tim's 3rd book in Kindle format but have now ordered it in paperback format too, as I was missing being able to highlight so many of the text that Tim uses, as I did in

cannabidioids in treatment
Good morning, I read about a case report of a patient diagnosed with PSP who had considerable improvement after using cannabidiol, is anyone using cannabidioids in the treatment?

Late stage cbd information
My mum Stella is 82 and has CBD I think she is in the later stages of the disease. But I’m not really sure what late stages are! She was finally diagnosed in 2021 and now lives in a care home (who are brilliant with her. And look after her needs very well) My dad cared for her at home for a few

Intrinsic factor
I seem to be at a sticking point with the findings of the intrinsic factor test. This is due to the way they now interpret the test results. My test result was Au/ml 1.63 ... Which I jumped with joy over as I thought "at last, this proves I have been telling the truth". How wrong I was. It is no longer

Parkinson's Arm Pain Mystery Solved: Overuse Injury Due to Tremor. Update - What is Helping
I've suffered increasing tremor over the last few months and along with that, increasing arm pain. I could find no medical references for Parkinson’s and arm pain, and the diagnostic materials on arm pain did not contain anything that fit. Be all that as it may, this matter is not hard to understand

CBD & using them to get off gabapentin
I am so tired of Gabapentin side effects. I was wondering if anyone out there has used CBD to taper down or off Gabapentin.I have tapered down to 100mg of gaapentin and as many of you may know that is the hardest, Any thoughts or ideas will be appreciated

RLS and CBD
As I have mentioned previously, I have been on gabapentin for many years. I am now taking 1800 mg a day as well as 4 mg of requip. I am almost through weaning off requip because of augmentation. But, on the advice of a neurologist that I no longer see, I started CBD gummies and CBD oil. So, I am wondering

CBD - do sufferers always end up needing wheelchairs?
I posted a while ago re whether we convert my parents’ house into having a downstairs bedroom and shower room for my mum, who has CBD. Thank you so much for the helpful responses. I’m thinking ahead to what other adaptations might be needed, in order to enable wheelchair access in and out of all areas

Liver Beef Glandular pills for iron?
Hi. Has anyone tried Liver Beef Glandular pills to increase iron rather than iron pills directly? My naturopathic doctor prefers this for RLS, because he says that iron pills are oxidizing. My Ferritin is ~80. And, I'm new here -- super helpful community. Now that I understand RLS, as I look back,

CBD (thc free) for pain relief
I’ve had a Triple Heart Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair. Before that I had a Lumber Spinal Laminectomy (which only worked for about 4 months). I’ve since also been diagnosed with Heart Failure so pain relief is very difficult. The Spinal Stenosis is now severe all down the Lumbar Region. I was given

Ahhhh well, I guess it could be worse!
It seems that my asthma plus,
CKD
means that a lot of pain relief is unsuitable. So, it’s a case of suck it up and adjust my life accordingly - something, thanks to my incredible husband and our family - that’s proving doable.

2024 PSP & CBD Ice Cream Challenge
My bad friends. I've been extremely busy with this year's Ice Cream Challenge and getting the fourth book ready for publication, that I forgot to post this year's photos. We are on Day 20 of the PSP & CBD Ice Cream Challenge. Unfortunately, I can only put up one photo, per post. I thought about a collage

Husband diagnosed with CBD
My 76 year old husband has just been diagnosed with CBD. His symptoms began about a year ago but now that I know what the beginning symptoms really are, he was probably having symptoms much earlier. He is in complete denial and I am ok with that but I am totally frightened as to what the future holds
