Hydroxychloroquine before Stims!
Hello everyone We are embarking on last own eggs cycle at the end of this month due to age. I have recently( in the last month) been diagnosed with mild adenomyosis and sticky blood, I am gutted that these issues have only been picked up now as I am nearing the end of my journey…but here we are.

Vitamin D levels
Hi guys, have a blood test at my GP tomorrow morning after I sent a message about getting my Vit D, Folate, Ferritin, B12 etc tested Is it the case now that if deficient, GPs won't treat? My levels a couple of years ago were 16 so very deficient Just worried if it comes back that low again, that GP

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Medication query
Hi everyone I have had hypothyroidism for a number of years and have been on 150mg of thyroxine. In the last month I have lost over a stone and my recent blood test showed my TSH was 0.07 and Free T3 & T4 normal. The doctor has told me to take 150mg 6 days a week and 100mg on one day a week. This doesn

B12 and Ferritin
I said I would post after my haematology consultation. I had a ferritin infusion in February after suspecting that I was ferritin/iron deficient as a result of research into ranges etc. I discovered that 30 can be regarded as ferritin deficient, a lot more than the bottom of the range 11 regarded as

Diarrhoea can be a symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency!
So if you get these other symptoms or a number of them as well, it's worth getting your B12 checked out with a doctor. The symptoms are: *Rapid breathing or shortness of breath *Headaches *Indigestion *Loss of appetite *Palpitations *Vision problems *Weakness and/or tiredness

Been put on trimbow
Following up to my previous post about well-controlled (or not) asthma, I filled in an online consultation form. Had a phone call from the surgery pharmacy team who suggested I try trimbow. I did explain my concerns about the anticholinergic bit as I had a rough time trying Spiriva in November and

Endo has given me T3.. What do I need to know?
So after many calls and emails over the last 6 weeks, I got an emergency appt with my endo. 2 months ago he dangled the carrot of "maybe needing to add in T3" but then wrote to me saying my bloods are in range and to review in August. Then he's ignored me. After persistence and many messages, I saw

New Research: Link Between Type D Personality and Hypothyroidism Discovered. Thoughts??
Interesting new study. Full access to the original research can be found below the news article. https://neurosciencenews.com/type-d-personality-hypothyroidism-25888/ Not really sure the purpose of this other than clutching at straws and keeping the prized TSH measurement in focus rather than looking

early concerns/ paranoia
Feeling a bit guilty taking up space here before I have any real diagnosis. I’m 72 years old and my annual physical in November saw my PSA numbers double from 3.2 to 6.4 and then retested a month later they were 7. Sounds scary to me. My urologist ordered an in-home EXODX urine test 14 days ago which

Had my appointment
Thank you for everyone's advice a few weeks ago. I had my long awaited appointment today. I shared my symptoms, along with frequencies etc. I explained my usual stress response which is very different to the symptoms I'm getting. The Dr listened to my chest, said there wasn't a wheeze but it sounded

optimum time for T3 dose
I've received good advice from people on here, regarding vitamin/minerals and optimum levels of, etc, and I recently started-3 weeks- adding 5mcg T3 to my thyroxine (100mcg reduced from 125mcg at suggestions on here). I have a 3-month trial. I take them together at the moment, at around 5-6 am. Is this

Endocrinologist won't medicate me?
My results are:TSH 2.3 (0.3-5.0) down from 5.32 T3 4.2 (3.5-5.8) down from 5.6 T4 11.2 (7.00-20.0) up from 8.6 Could this be from taking a month of supplements (recommended here, so thank you) & I'm now doing ok because of that? I'm still symptomatic (less so) I don't know?? Ultrasound & blood

Is it known for Electromagnetic Field Radiation (EMF) to increase TSH whilst still having normal T4 and T3 levels?
Hi, I know a lot of people say that electromagnetic fields are generally not a risk, but what if someone is exposed to it constantly throughout the day without any fresh air, surrounded by computers and other equipment quite close to your body? Can this increase and play havoc with your TSH number
