My Turn to Ask a Question
No previous requirement for
chemotherapy
. Two thirds of the participants get the LU-177 and one third get the best SOC. In my case, this would mean coming off Xtandi and going onto Zytiga (abiraterone).

Xtandi after Zytega and then chemo
Hi all - my husband was diagnosed in May of 2020 with PSA 290, Gleason 9, extensive bone mets, and pain the only symptom. Started Lupron and Zytega, got PSA down to 0.2 in June of 2021, did radiation just to the prostate, and everything was good until November of 2021 when the PSA started doubling every

bloodthinners
I’ve been on blood thinners for6 months after having a Pulmonary Embolism post surgery. I have completed my Chemo. 3 weeks ago and I have been told I can stop taking blood thinners as my risk is no greater than the normal person. Has anybody else been through a similar experience. I feel a bit anxious

Travel Insurance from the UK ?
I have my last cycle of
chemotherapy
next week and I have booked a holiday to Mexico after that. It is only now I am trying to get travel insurance as my current policy is for Europe only. I either get flat refused for quotation or prices of around £2,000!

Postnasal drip Aliftus Trial
Has anyone developed postnasal drip whilst being on this trial. I thought it was taxol causing it but I stopped chemo at the end of October and I've still got it. Im still on the trial drug.

Finally received financial assistance from hospital
I just wanted to thank all the ladies who offered kind advice a while back regarding financial assistance for
chemotherapy
co-pays. Even with Medicare, my hospital bill kept climbing. Well, I was finally granted 100% assistance with co-pays. What a load off my mind! 🙂 Sashay

Israeli lab ‘explodes’ mice tumours using gas, in possible alternative to surgery
It should be followed by
chemotherapy
or immunotherapy, just as in the case of surgery. This is promising research.”

Realization
I have had HCC 6 months now. I have come to realize the key in treating this is not whether the meds work; but rather whether you respond to the medication. I have read of good and great effects from the medications, however the response rate of immunotherapy agents is a maximum of 31% and a minimum

Those of you who have followed my husband's journey with PCa might remember that we were looking at Crescendo trial Ph1. We were told in the UK that his disease was PSMA positive and that he could be eligible for Lu177. We did not wish to wait given the increase in clinical symptoms and decided to
