Update: Carbo/Etoposide for Dad’s Liver Mets
My dad has his 6th round of Carbo/Etoposide next week. The last 2 rounds have been very difficult on my dad. We thought he was lucky in the beginning as the side effects were manageable and attributed it to my dad being young and previously very active. It’s definitely true that chemo is cumulative.

itching attack on soles of feet - carbo taxol regimen
hi lovely ladies, I have done 5 rounds of the carbo-taxol treatment and have 1 more to go. After the last 2 rounds I get this crazy itching episodes mainly on the soles of my feet that continue for about an hour. The itching is so bad literally want to chop my feet off. The oncologist found it uncommon

Hi. I saw my oncologist a few dsys ago for the result of my scan which was done after three rounds of chemo. It wasn’t the news I wanted to hear but it wasn’t all bad news. I had a partial response, which is positive, but IDS is not suitable as I still have significant mesenteric disease, which they

P.I.P advice.
Due to work becoming more tiring and being back on chemo. I am considering applying for pip so I can reduce my hours. I have applied twice in the past but was awarded zero points. Would very much appreciate any advice from those in the uk regarding this. Many thanks.

Diclofenac for neuropathy/HFS caused by Xeloda
hello everyone I suffer from hand and foot syndrome and neuropathy so I have been looking for ways to ease the pain. I have been on Doxil (IV chemo every 4 weeks, Doxorubicin) since June 2023 and the pain has been hard physically and emotionally. Yesterday my oncologist’s nurse practitioner mentioned

chemo
I have been told to strongly consider
Chemotherapy
both Intravenous and oral: oxaliplatin and cepecitabine. I am looking for anyone who has had this
chemotherapy
and any feedback (I understand everyone reacts differently) as I am scared and don’t know anyone who has.

Shortage of Chemo drugs
I just thought it would be wise to post that in the United States at the moment, and probably world wide, there is a shortage of key chemo drugs at this time. Platins are short and being judiciously given when doctors can get them. Xeloda (Capecetabine) is in short supply right now as well. For anyone

Does triplet Therapy still work if you've failed Enza?
As most posters know the UK doesn't allow for other 'mides' once you've failed Xtandi (as I have done) But I am considering buying Abi from India to add to my Lupron and Docetaxel. Has anyone had success with Abi after Xtandi failure? Is the triplet therapy likely to work for me? And does it have to

My husband was dx with a grade 4 glioblastoma wild type Feb 2023.
